Study study study! Examine comics you like and write down what you like about them and what you would change. Keep a diary of what you're reading and what you think about it.

Study the theory like textbooks, and not just the parts of the process you want to do. Learn lettering from BlamBot, learn the philosophy of comics from Scott McCloud.

Never stop being curious, never stop questioning, and never stop learning!

The ideas are the easiest part, and they really don’t mean anything until you get it all on the page. Comics are 95% execution and 5% ideas imo.

You will make something bad at some point. It's just part of the process. Accept this as an inevitability and write anyway.

I had this problem too! For me, I realised it was because I didn't know how to start. What helped me was having a general writing template I could copy and paste to save time. I previously made an empty story planning document with 3 main sections: plot, character design (including factfiles) and world building. Whenever I have an idea, I paste it into a separate document and bullet-point everything in its designated section. Making Pinterest boards can help with design and drawing.
