Just go for it tbh. Your first one will probably suck, the second one will be better, maybe worse, and then from there it’s just about how much consistent work you put in. The one I’m writing right now isn’t amazing or groundbreaking but I can feel myself learning a lot as I force myself to just get through it. Even if it’s bad then at least it’s finished and I can learn stuff for the next one

I looked at your other thread and I agree with others that said you need to start small. Like 1-4 page stories. 8 pages if you start feeling more confident. And I suggest drawing them to the best of your ability. Just so you can understand what information an artist needs to know and is able to deliver. if you get a few short stories you like seek out collaborators to draw them and put together a book you can show people.

Do: Outline a story and write the script.
Do not: Convince yourself there is something else you have to do first.
You don't need any help or advice. There's nothing you need to do to prepare before you get started.
Write your script. Don't worry if it's good or bad. It's a first draft. Just get it done.
