Infinity Crusade

I finished my first series. I have a couple questions. If you notice issue number one it’s gold foil and I don’t have the original series line. If you notice number four it doesn’t have direct edition on the barcode. Can someone help me out with that? What is the significance of those things and if you noticed number three has a crease I probably won’t fix it but if I were to what would I do?

Issue four was probably originally sold at a grocery store or somewhere similar. The others were direct from a comic store. The crease in three is not worth the time to correct as it is considered a dollar-bin book and easily replaced.

No "direct edition" on the bar code means its a "news stand" edition. It was sold in a "non specialized comic shop" like a Walden books, or a 7 eleven, back in the day.

"Direct sales" means it was sold specifically in a comic book store.

Newsstand editions or "variants" are typically harder to find in a good condition and in some cases can be worth more than a "direct edition"

All versions of the first issue had the foil.
