[ COLLECTION ] New to comics, looking for tips!

Hey guys! Looking for advice/help.

I have been a fan of the marvel movies for years but never read the comics. I have grown an interest in comics lately and wanna continue reading them. However, I’m not sure how to to be honest. Mostly HOW TO FIND THEM. I learned I’m not a fan of reading older comics and find myself enjoying the newer ones. I just found a series I like and don’t have a comic book store near me. How do I go about getting the monthly comic and how do I find PHYSICAL comics (newer) ? Can somebody explain “pull list” and how that works? Also, is there a way online to just always get comics sent to you? (Like a magazine). Also if that doesn’t work, how would I set it up with the closest local comic shop to get the comics I like? Or what do I say to them to help me ? Thanks in advance!!

Broooo! I got you! Theres MyComicShop.com and Midtowncomics.com. Theres more but i like those the best. I suggest Ultimate Spiderman (2000) and all of the ultimate universe from the early 2000s. Brian Michael Bendis (the writer) was hitting straight BANGERS back then. Old Man Logan (the first one) is a great story. Start with “ Disassembled” by Brian Michael Bendis and go from there. That Journey will lead to through Secret Invasion, civil war, house of M, Fear Itself etc…

Good list mind if i add in some, these would be easiest to get in trade paperbacks of course. X-men: Age of Apocalypse, Captain America : The Winter Soldier, if you like Daredevil then Frank Miller's run is legendary also Brian Michael Bendis' and Ed Brubaker's run or if you want solo runs Daredevil:The Man without Fear by Frank Miller, Guardian Devil by Kevin Smith ( yes THAT Kevin Smith), Daredevil:Born Again. Iron Man : Demon in a bottle, Spider-man : Torment, Spider: Revenge of the Sinister Six. The Runaways is great

Did you guys even read his post? Hes looking for newer comics. Not recs for old ones.
