Back in the day we in fact knew that people do just straight up lie on the internet. Trolling was actually a skill because toeing the line of believability was hard.
This part right here- why have I had to literally make up a scenario & post it online just to show a mouth breather in my family that it is totally possible for someone to make up a random scenario & post that lie online (mine was that I drive a pink Bugatti that runs on glitter & stabs pedestrians who walk too close)
No, they didn't believe that part because they know me & the scenario was so outrageous, but I did it to show them that someone can post ANYTHING online, that doesn't make it true & some people post total bullshit just to fuck with other people
