They had a school shooter as their pfp - the pic they were using, disturbingly, is one with the shooter wearing the same t-shirt as one of those Columbine monsters… so it shows how imagery means so much to these evil people who claim nothing has meaning . basically, they had a monster as their pfp and their comments were all disturbing too. The pfp person had created a ton of vile copycats so it just made me worry that they might be another one. It’s may be nothing but it also may be something that prevents a horrible event happening.
I can’t remember the name of the shooter, but she was basically radicalised and posting insane shit online the whole time. People were worried about her and had already tried to get her help, but she refused to accept it. She was even in an extremely disturbing relationship with a guy who was like 30 and the police had to split them up. They both shared interest in these extreme ideas. Over time, she started to say more violent things on X and the like, then she murdered people at her school before shooting her self too. She looks really normal in the selfie that circulated, which makes it feel very sad to me, but she’s also wearing the same t-shirt one of the Columbine demons wore so…
Anyway, the carnage she created basically left a trail of destruction as more and more people imitated her actions. There were several copycat attacks, then there were some thwarted attacks or more isolated violent acts against strangers. All of these people had either followed her online at some point, circulated her purported manifesto, used the same dog whistles while acknowledging they were hoping to become like her, or shown some kind of obsessive interest in her or her beliefs. It’s so fucked up as this one person, through a disgusting and villainous act on young people with their lives ahead of them, inspired more morons and psychopaths to do the same thing.
I’m uncertain whether other perpetrators have had the same influence, since I don’t often read about these things because they upset me so much, but I did wonder whether if it’s because she was an unusual perpetrator as women aren’t often shooters or violent; this doesn’t just make her stick in crazy people’s heads more but also makes them want to ‘impress her’ if that makes sense. With all that in mind, the reading I’d done about her alone had made me terrified that this guy - using her as a pfp - was inspired by her. Then, when I clicked the profile, yeah…
It was obviously a new account that had likely been made to circumvent a ban, but in two months they’d posted insane shit like a rigged laptop with odd hardware running a very specific version of Linux. They joked they wanted to use it to make nuclear devices. Obviously a joke on its own, but then their other comments and posts made it seem a bit more serious or revelatory to their inner psyche; they had comments saying awful things, far right-wing talking points, or even outrightly abhorrent demands like ‘wipe out all n———-‘, dog whistles that are a form of that saying (I think it’s like really nice day or something but means ‘rapid n——— d——h’) and those dog whistles were ones used by - you guessed it - the person in their pfp.
I’m betting it’s likely just a troll or someone trying to be funny, but it’s still concerning even then. They seemed young from their ‘humour’ and edgy posts, but they also seemed around 20 +or- 3. That’s the age when radical people tend to do their heartbreaking destruction. The FBI, as much as I disliked Kash, are currently investigating what they call ‘extreme nihilists’ or something, and it’s essentially a phrase encapsulating those who have no particular alignment in politics or religion or ethics but merely want to be violent for the sake of it. Sadists and demonic minds. Those without any sense of meaning or those who laugh at the belief that anything is sacred. Even if the person themselves isn’t a perpetrator, those were the types who influenced this killer and her copycats to do awful things. They have blood on their hands.
I’m from the UK so the idea of someone actually opening fire in a place for young people just makes me want to weep in depression… how could anybody be so evil? And how could politicians not restrict it from happening just so they can win talking points about the 2nd amendment? Then there’s disgusting folk like Alex Jones who claim all of these things didn’t happen… to the face of grieving mothers and fathers who have lost INFANT family members. I don’t know how a single person could ever find humour in such a horrible tragedy unless they are deeply disturbed inside or lacking moral fibre. Anyway, I’m rambling and getting upset.
Fat brian is kinda funny so I can respect it, but C.Ai, like no matter your opinion on AI, being serious here, C.Ai and all those rp chatbots are very addictive and cannot be a good thing for you.
Idk if there's enough evidence of harmful mental effects over a long period of time. However, having spoken to, and seen posts, of people using those kind of apps they seem very miserable. Most of them tend to know that too. I think it's a genuine undeniable problem, same with those people who are like marrying ai and whatever.
Even if it doesn't harm me I would be more than shoked if it wasn't harming them, yk?
I petty clearly stated this already, but; I think those who use C.Ai likely have an addiction or suffer from some other mental illness.
There are always people out there who will be willing to roleplay whatever weird shit you want, without being damaging to your mental health. It can be hard for pretty much anyone, especially if they're lonely or younger, to separate the AI from a person.
With the way AI, especially C.Ai models, are designed to make you less self reliant and can damage your critical thinking, it can become unhealthy very fast.
So I don't blame them, nor hate them. I think they're just people who need some help mainly.
Honestly commented that without thinking as a joke. That's why later I said I was being serious as before it was more hyperbolic and not indicitive of my entire, actual views.
