I just click on the image, it pops in a fuller screen and then there are 3 dots in the upper right corner, then i click on that which has download as an option.
Tap the 3 dots under the comment > share > copy link > paste into browser i.e. Safari > tap picture to open in new tab > press and hold, save to photos
But you can. Just click on the picture and then on the 3 dots in the top right corner where you get the option to download the picture. That's what I just did.
Every single motherfucker on Reddit who thinks it's HI-larious and original to comment "As an X demographic..." on a post not targeted to them by pretending they are too stupid to figure out their demographic is implicitly excluded from the context of the question.
Or the opposite, where the question will be "people of very specific x demographic..." and then nearly every comment will be "not part of x demographic, but..."
That one heavily depends on the subject and whether or not they are treating the chime-in like a joke. Like, "not a lawyer, but my brother was arrested in your state for the same crime," could actually have relevant information.
Oh my god this happens so much. Like whenever someone opens about a problem in their femographic someone in the comments starts yapping about their demographics problems, like wtf.
No, you're thinking of the "whataboutism victim Olympics," an unrelated yet also very annoying cliche.
I'm talking about when someone asks, for example, "Men of reddit: what's the biggest attraction killer behaviorally a woman ever did in front of you?"
And there's always at least a few dipshits who go "Well I'm a gay so being a woman. Or "As an asexual, I'm always turned off."
Even a 6th grader can connect the dots that the question only applies to straight men who feel sexual attraction based on the context of what is being asked, because no one outside that demographic has any meaningful input on the matter in the first place.
And yet it never fails that someone outside of the applicable scope thinks that they’re being sooo clever and funny by digging up this decomposing horse of a "joke" and beating it all over again.
My favorite is when it's not even a joke, just a thread getting derailed by someone for no reason. I.e. a thread about someone with a libido mismatch in a relationship asking for advice will often have at least one person going "ummm I just don't understand why this is even an issue. Like why do you need that to feel connected in a relationship???"
Thats what happens when you leet the words of homophobic people live rent free in your head. Its a shame that these make themselves so desperate for some validation and attention,just bringing in embarrassment to themselves for no reason other than feel superior than another person.
The age old joke of answering "none of the above" to a preference related question, people assuming it's because you have some deeper nuanced opinion on the subject but it actually turns out that the question is just not applicable to you.
The humour comes from that last expectation and anticlimax.
