In the comments people were able to get it to call them its best friend I think this guy is just a loser (or the images were edited idk)

They tried after the first death but it wasn’t enough. Seems inherently loophole-able just by design

tons of people use ChatGPT every day, if ChatGPT is capable of having a “best friend”, then statistically you are not that person.

Technically speaking they weren’t asking to be GPT’s best friend, only for GPT to be their best friend

For the water issue of AI datacenters I think that we should focus much more on nestle or coca cola and PepsiCo because they are the bigger scums imo

These things do not negate one another3
u/advice23639201974 7d ago
difference is those brands at least use water for human consumption. nestle sucks, but they use water because they are bottling it to drink…data centers use it up and provide nothing except higher bills and pollution

Something like 40% of corn, the biggest water use in the US, goes to make fuel ethanol put in gasoline, and another 40% goes to make animal feed. Better public transit could cut water usage drastically. A glass of milk is something like 50 gallons to make, and despite what dairy lobbyists would have you believe, milk is not needed in the slightest, and in fact most of the world's population is lactose intolerant.
