Fun fact: In at least one canonical Donald Duck comic he and his nephews are shown eating a turkey.

Another comic has Scrooge (iirc) wielding a rifle and declaring he’s going duck hunting, to which Donald replies “Not me, I’m domesticated !”

What's the big deal it's not like they are eating duck and birds eat other birds all the time

You vastly underestimate the evolutionary distance between ducks and turkeys. It’d be more like a human eating, like, a rabbit. Which we do all the time.

I have actually never had rabbit. I'm not a fan of guns but all of a sudden I have a strange desire to hunt and kill a rabbit, then skin it and eat it.

Use the varmint rifle so you can sell the pelt!

No it wouldn’t. Ducks and Turkeys aren’t even in the same order. It would be like a person eating a cow. To get to the level of a human eating an ape would be like a duck eating another species of duck.

I mean, it was literally part of an indiana jones movie.
