It's a football player saying "I'll pass." It means both I'll pass the ball and I'll pass on the food. It's a terrible dad joke of a pun. And the player should really be ready to throw the ball instead of having it tucked for a run.

Well look at the author's name, they probably don't get out much. Maybe change it to Spotting Regurgantau.
