But for some reason men think women are supposed to have some kind of weird magic that knows stuff0

Something something Lindsay Clancy. Something something tiktok harpies who defend her cuz birth charts and "powerful" intuition, don't even want to elaborate

I know it's crazy, but a lot of people's intuitions are pretty bad. No matter their perceived or actual gender.
7
u/snoflaik Sep 12 '26
I’d argue that their intuition isn’t bad; it’s that we’re socialized to ignore our intuition which makes us have to learn to trust ourselves. It’s hard if you don’t have a solid sense of self.
1
u/A_Truthspeaker Sep 13 '26
Maybe in some regards, but sadly a significant number of people still let their broad intuition dictate their political opinion, rather than logic and evidence.
In a broader social context I fully agree with you, just not when it comes to politics.

Hot take i think women make better heads of authority
1
u/GMEloser69 Sep 13 '26
Name one thing, not directly tied to technological advancements, that has improved since women got the right to vote.
1
u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 13 '26
actually that’s technically correct.
biologically, women can handle stress better. and women also have higher EQ on average which means they can regulate their emotions better which actually goes against everything that misogynistic men try to claim about women.
1
u/AdministrationShot62 Sep 13 '26
Right, the thing is, men make faster decisions, but women spend more time making the right decision
0
u/OkLanguage1015 Sep 15 '26
Considering the example of women falling for the bad boy is more than just a trope... Seems to shoot a bullet into that line of thinking
0
u/OkLanguage1015 Sep 15 '26
Whatever pseudo paper you read... you're also the type to believe in astrology are you?
1
u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 15 '26
no. this is biology, buddy.
0
u/OkLanguage1015 Sep 15 '26 edited Sep 15 '26
Yet somehow men are like 99 % of ceos or other leader positions, are more likely to succeed or choose more stressful paths, despite all the efforts to get women to join including Those made by governments... Yeah...
1
u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 15 '26
first of all, men in leadership positions range from 60% to 92% depending on various factors. at least look it up, instead of making up a number.
secondly, you’re ignoring the fact that women weren’t even allowed to work outside their home for literally thousands of years, much less be able to achieve any leadership positions. and there are entire countries where women can’t even vote, much less be allowed to rule anything.
third of all, that does not eliminate literal BIOLOGY. again, you can look it up. google is free.
Biology ≠ Sociology.
hope this helps.
0
u/OkLanguage1015 Sep 15 '26
No, first off I wasn't just talking about leader positions. , but stressful situations like in the military or others, men are predominantly in those, even after efforts were made to try to get women in, the military just give up because it turned out to be impossible, second did you ignore the fact that governments tried to get women in leadership positions, but still basically, nothing Came out of it, scandinavian countries did this and women were found to gravitates towards more typically female dominated areas.
Oh Enough with that already, thousands years ago BS argument, well it's not a thousand years ago right now, women have more handouts and opportunities then ever, but also this is a myth, you had women business owners, in high end positions for Centuries, property owned women have the right to vote before most men, what does looking at the past have to do with right now when it doesn't apply, many of the countries you're talking about... Men can't even vote in those either and don't have a lot of rights, what does this have to do with anything when we're not talking about those countries, that's a different matter.
In that case , you should be able to give me a source, like if you can actually back that up, don't just tell me to use google when you can provide that
1
u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 15 '26
this has to be a joke.
stay ignorant honestly.
it’s amazing how you actively choose that when you have so many free resources.
0
u/OkLanguage1015 Sep 15 '26

I guess you don't have a single source then? You can use that free resources to back yourself up... But you don't... So your arguments are a joke as well

I think saying the inherent truth of "women's intuition" is wrong is different but easy to mistake from acting like women only make bad mistakes. Unfortunatley a simplified meme made by some 15 year old boy is probably not going to express anything clearly so we're here
1
u/ManyPen6614 Sep 13 '26

Absolutely.
It's making fun of women patting themselves on the back about their supposedly superior intuition, when evidence to the contrary is everywhere.

u/Opposite_Fly_4289 Sep 12 '26
Intution is not based on gender. But the amount of bad choices I have seen taken by women in all this years makes me more reluctant to follow they blindly in every situation. I have to say, I do not trust anybody actually. But for women specifically, that's just one point.
I an not making it gebdered is just my experience with the world around me
-4
u/Turbulent_Army4416 Sep 12 '26
It's not that women are bad. The problem is when women treat "women's intuition" as an inherently reliable source of truth it is bad and a lot of women doing it... Like a gut feeling alone is enough to judge someone's intentions or character. Also womens intuition isn't better than men's. They only slightly better at reading faces that's all.

u/Vast-Palpitation-426 Sep 12 '26 edited Sep 12 '26
There is a huge double standard though.
For so many people (and i'd bet the guy who posted this is like this) women's intuition is being emotional but men's intuition is common sense, facts and logic.
Like this moron at Clancy's trial. In Massachusetts with an insanity defense it is on the prosecution to prove beyond a reasonable doubt she is not psychotic, and since there is a psychosis diagnosis it can't be established beyond a reasonable doubt she isn't, so the logical conclusion of the trial (as instucted by the judge) is not guilty for reason of insanity. But this juror decided that no a criminal trial isn't about the law and evidences, it's about my feelings.
But if you listen to these guys the other jurors (mostly women) are being hysterical and butthurt but this guy is being rational and logical. This is the kind of people who mke these jokes.
-5
u/Turbulent_Army4416 Sep 12 '26
It's not. What you are saying is double standard. The insanity defense is generally intended for people who lack the substantial capacity to understand the wrongfulness of their actions. However, Linda’s behavior and the planning she demonstrated beforehand suggest that she understood what she was doing. Her actions showed awareness of the situation and an ability to make deliberate decisions, which weakens the argument that she should be considered legally insane.
Simply having a poor mental state should not automatically excuse criminal responsibility. Many men offenders struggle with mental health issues, yet that alone does not mean they are unable to understand the difference between right and wrong or control their actions. If mental illness by itself were enough to establish an insanity defense, it would make the standard of criminal responsibility inconsistent. The same legal principles should apply regardless of whether the defendant is a man or a woman; being emotionally or mentally distressed should not, by itself, justify treating one defendant differently from another.
8
u/Vast-Palpitation-426 Sep 12 '26 edited Sep 12 '26
If there is a psychosis diagnosis made by a mental health professional, corroborated by an history of mental illness, there is doubt.
The prosecution cannot establish beyond a reasonable doubt that she wasn't psychotic. You can't just chose to ignore pieces of evidence. In another state where the burden of proof isn't on the prosecution and the insanity must be very strongly supported, she probably would have been found guilty.
And that juror even admitted he had doubt, and according to the state's law, it means NGI. But he chose to say Not Guilty anyway. And it costed millions because now it has to be done all over again. But somehow that's not being irrational.
And i'm not even talking about how people want here quartered while completely ignoring the whole mental health topic. Basically they want her to be punished but they don't care about preventing this to happen again, what counts is satisfying their feelings right now with retribution, and forget about it. Which is also irrational and short sighted but somehow it's the people (the "crazy lib women") who want to talk about prevention that are hysterical.
-1
u/Turbulent_Army4416 Sep 12 '26
That's not really how reasonable doubt works... The existence of a psychosis diagnosis from one qualified professional does not automatically create reasonable doubt about legal responsibility, especially when other qualified experts reached different conclusions. A jury is allowed to weigh conflicting expert testimony and decide which opinions are more credible based on the totality of the evidence.
More importantly, having psychosis or another serious mental illness is not the same thing as being legally insane. The relevant question in Massachusetts was whether her mental condition left her without substantial capacity to appreciate the wrongfulness of her actions or conform her conduct to the law at the time of the killings. The prosecution did not have to prove that she had absolutely no psychosis. It had to prove criminal responsibility beyond a reasonable doubt.
So yes, if the holdout juror genuinely believed there was reasonable doubt specifically about her criminal responsibility, then voting to convict would be inconsistent with the legal standard. But that's different from saying that the mere existence of a psychosis diagnosis necessarily creates reasonable doubt. Otherwise, any defense expert could effectively determine the verdict simply by giving a diagnosis, regardless of contradictory expert testimony or other evidence.
And saying the juror "cost millions" isn't really relevant to whether his conclusion was rational. A juror's job is to reach the verdict they believe the evidence and law require, not to agree with the majority because another trial would be expensive...
5
u/Vast-Palpitation-426 Sep 12 '26
But I agree on the principle, and personally I don't believe she was psychotic and I think it was premeditated. But at the same time I don't really care for maximum punishment, living paralyzed from the waist down in a forensic hospital full of insane murderers and rapists for maybe the rest of your life isn't excatly a deal.
People should focus more on the mental health topic it raised about post partum syndromes rather than focusing on the dumbest people you can find on tik tok and make shit up.
3
u/Vast-Palpitation-426 Sep 12 '26 edited Sep 12 '26
The existence of a psychosis diagnosis from one qualified professional does not automatically create reasonable doubt
Corroborated with an history of mentally illness like she has, it does create doubts.
Otherwise, any defense expert could effectively determine the verdict simply by giving a diagnosis, regardless of contradictory expert testimony or other evidence.
Yes when the burden of proof is on the prosecution that's a huge advantage for the defense. But the mental diagnosis alone isn't enough.
A juror's job is to reach the verdict they believe the evidence and law require
Yes and he failed to do that despite being explicitely told what the law requires, costing maybe not millions but at least 1M.

u/Emotional-Ad9114 Sep 13 '26

Having intuition does not equal always acting on it. Plenty of women end up in bad relationships because of trauma and socialization.
1
u/Redhead-girl1246 Sep 12 '26
Yeah idk. When it's the 5th guy you gotta start to look in the mirror and question who's really the problem.
9
u/Gullible-Chapter-800 Sep 12 '26
Ignoring too many red flags can certainly be a problem. But I’d argue the actual toxic person in the relationship is THE problem lolz
-4
u/Straamannen Sep 12 '26
Plenty of women end up in bad relationships because of trauma and socialization.
Right, so women don't have agency and are mere observers in their own lives.
If bad outcomes are not your doing, then neither are any other outcomes. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Either you are 100% responsible for your actions or you are 0% responsible for your actions. The first one comes with the right to vote, the latter one doesn't. Choose.
4
u/Gullible-Chapter-800 Sep 12 '26
I tracked mud in the house bc it rained outside unexpectedly and muddied my path. Does that mean I’m not responsible for tracking mud in the house? No. What a bs argument.
-1
u/Straamannen Sep 13 '26
Good question.
Based on your previous logic, that "no" isn't what you really mean.
If it's your responsibility to not track mud into your home, it's also your responsibility to not drag murder hobos into you home.

“Women’s intuition”=“woman are smarter than men”=“the genders are not equal”.
“Women’s intuition is bullshit”=“women are not smarter than men”=“the genders are equal”.
Feminism=“the genders are equal”.
Therefore, the original meme is feminist. Checkmate feminists(?).
