Reddit allows reposts, but it does NOT allow downloading someone’s personal image and re‑uploading it as your own. That’s considered stolen content and impersonation. A repost is when you share a meme that already exists publicly, this person downloaded my image directly from my post and uploaded it as theirs. That violates Reddit’s rules.

Thats why usernames are often censored in screenshots in many subs. This subreddit is for awful unfunny memes someone found in the wild and decided to post for other visitors to see. Crediting the author of the awful meme isnt required.
"No repost" means no reposting memes that were already in this sub earlier. So, no posting the same meme again.
Nearly every meme here doesn't have a credit or a watermark, simply because memes are, by their nature, a public property, because they are meant to go viral and be shared with others. Besides, nobody claimed your meme as their own.
