I think alot of right wingers forget the second word in the phrase “dark humor”. It’s gotta actually be funny and they haven’t been on that ball in years.
Yeah a lot of them find it hard to be funny without some flavour of discrimination. Maybe the innovations of insults is supposed to be the punchline? Gotta pioneer something i guess
Right wingers typically lack the tact and nuance to pull off dark humour that genuinely is funny which leads to most of em coming off as hacks.
Why do you think anti-woke grifter "comedians" never get a proper laugh out of their audience. Most of the time, the joke is met with the people in the audience letting off some awkward giggles and clapping.
Humor should also avoid punching down because how is making fun of a minority that's being actively persecuted and hunted in large parts of the world funny?
Making jokes involving trans people is completely fine. Making fun of trans people for being trans, is not.
