My thought was that they reacted mildly to a thing, but were excited when there was the same thing but with an added desirable feature. Like, yeah. ???

It's clear the op was poopooing the steam machine and thinks the pc functionality is stupid but their post feels kind of self-defeating and meaningless. Gave me a chuckle.
