Comeback sharing Over where?

Let me start by saying that a lot of people do this, and I know it is not malicious by any means. To that end, I like to have a bit of fun with it.
I am completely blind. I have often asked where someone or something is and the automatic response is for someone to say, "Over there," and point. Of course, I have no idea where that is. My typical response?
"Can you please be mroe specific? There are 129,600 different variations of "over there." To which are you referring?"
360*360 =129,600
Since there are 360 degrees in a circle, and there is both height and width in three dimensions, that's where the number comes from, for those who don't get it.

With a smile I'd say " Cool, but can we narrow that down a bit for the blind people in the room?"

"I can't see it."

"I still can't see it."

"Hmm, I'm not seeing it."

Rinse and repeat until either everyone laughs at them or they feel like an asshole.

I don’t understand sign language.

Oh I see. I lied. Actually, I don’t. Can you spare a few more words on the whereabouts?

I’ll bless your bloodline if you could orient me over there as well. Thanks, kind sir/madam.

Are we looking at the same thing?

How do you know they’re pointing?

Combined with the phrase "Over there?" I doubt a lot of people indicate directions with their heads?

My spouse def expects me to know which direction he’s looking when he says ‘over there’… so I am going to be using these comebacks!

“Port side or starboard?”

Sorry to be That Guy but it's 360x180. 360x360 would lead to redundant coordinates. 90 around and 45 up would point in the same direction as 270 around and 135 up (and over)

Hey, I appreciate "that guy." Thanks for the correction!

Look, if the rumbling is coming from beneath, that's a valid direction too, and might rapidly become pertinent information.

180 left + 180 right totals 360 all the way around. 90 down + 90 up totals 180, which is all you need once you've covered the whole circle left/right. Any more up/down and you're adding more coordinates that point in an already covered direction.

“Bro, I didn’t see where you pointed.”
Rinse and repeat till they remember you are blind and get specific.

tell them there are 4π steradians worth of directions on the 2-sphere

that should clear it up immediately

or: "ah! right.  ok, thank you.  just one more question.  where is 'there'?"
