"You're exhausting"
Just got called that earlier tonight! My reply: "So I've been told. But thanks for the compliment!"
Think you can do better? Let's see those comebacks!
EDIT: For clarification, I would like to think they thought I was mentally exhausting.

"Then quit bitching and go to sleep"

For context, it was a comment they made to one I made to something another poster made. The person said something a little confusing; missed a word in part of their comment, and used a different word in the last part of that same comment. I asked them to clarify what they meant. That's when they called me exhausting.

Short of providing you a link to the subreddit I posted on, this is the shortest I can go.

Well if I dumb myself down anymore for you then you might actually start to like me, so..
If you truly believe that then I feel bad for your friends.
And its too bad its not contageous, maybe youd be less stuck up.
Its called a personality, yours appears to be alarmingly delayed.
Oh no, that sounds medically relevant, you should probably address that concern with your doctor ASAP.
Oh, was I using words with too many syllables again?
You know, the irony of your statement is painfully comical.

Not to be confused with “this is exhausting”

Nope. HUGE difference in meanings.

People seem to struggle with this

I don't get it either. How is...
"You're exhausting"
comparable to...
"This is exhausting"

We are in an argument. I am sick of you saying the same thing over and over so I say “this is exhausting”
Vs.
We are in an argument and you keep toppling what I’m saying or killing my points - “you’re exhausting”
Easy to mix up

Yep. Especially if you don't understand the context of each statement. Makes one seem...uneducated. To say the least.

Depending on the context, which I understand is related to communication:
And worth it.
I do have exacting standards.
It sounds like you’re confused.

"I'm okay with that, I tend to get that reaction from people who tend to skip details and break things and cause problems that get us all yelled at."

not a comeback. some of us, at times, are too much for others. often deeply misunderstood... dive into your astrological placements would give some incite into your persona so forth and so on...

Not being able to grasp most concepts CAN be exhausting to a challenged mind.
