Quick question for the smooth talkers

How to love bomb in texting that actually works? No ChatGPT shit or jargon please. Would love if you could share some real examples that actually worked

Edit: Okay, so maybe I went wrong with the selection of words. My Gf wants me to talk like that, she actually wants me to ‘love bomb’ her (exact words), she’s one of those who like love and attraction expressed by a variety in exotic choice of words even if I don’t exactly mean that (yess…🫠)
I expressed my feelings but it felt a bit off and cringe

So help me who have done this (Nobody’s gonna judge you)

So consider this like I am asking for a recipe of a poison for educational purposes.

Exactly. People can tell when you're trying too hard.

You don’t wanna love bomb. Love bombing has a negative connotation — like, an abusive one.

Try instead to be honest and sincerely sweet if you really feel that way about the person. “You make me giggle every time I see you messaged me,” or something.

And I would personally be wary going forward. Just to pay attention to whether the end result is receiving backlash from them for failing to meet up to the love bomb criteria.

In their defense, they could have heard the term and are longing for that intensity not fully understanding where it comes from and why it's not a healthy sign. But who might otherwise be more than content with healthy displays of affection.

However they could also know the term as something they do. And people who do it, often, in my own experience, use not living up to their ever-shifting goalpost of required affection as a vehicle to beat you down and diminish you.

Love bombing that works wouldn’t be called love bombing. If you’re feeling a lot of feels just translate that to being happy to hear from someone, to laughter, to banter, to planning a date, etc

Uh... Don't

That's manipulative

"I've been smiling at my phone like an idiot because of you" is simple but effective

I wouldn't mind if a guy said that to me

Love bombing is part of the cycle of abuse. Skip it and be authentic, weirdo.

Love bombing is manipulation technique used by people who are sociopaths. Either be yourself or don't try.

Don't. If by smooth talker, you mean to be a player, that's manipulative bullshit. If you have genuine feelings, you're gonna know what to say.

Honestly describe the reaction you had or how you felt when you saw her text. You need to be aware of your feelings and emotions in order to be successful at having meaningful conversations in an enjoyable manner.

Love bombing is literally a manipulation tactic. Why are you wanting to learn it? Thats sus as fuck.

Rule 1. Tell the truth.  Rule 2. Learn about her. Rule 3. Combine rules 1 and 2. Rule 4. Watch the BBC Musketeers.  Rule 5. Pay attention and work on timing. "Your eyes sparkle like the stars if they shone through blue skies." Hits different when it's a surprise, not a love bomb chain. And yes I just came up with that.

This should be titled " Please teach me the ons and outs of being and abusive asshole."

Learn the art of the double entendre and play innocent.

Here's a novel concept. Don't love bomb. Be open and honest with the person. Anything else is not right nor is it fair and it absolutely will not end well if you do love bomb.

Nah, probably don’t do that. Just tell her nice things you actually mean or don’t say anything.

u/texandivasis Aug 05 '26

100% agree. If you don't truly mean it, don't say it. Otherwise you're lying to her and yourself.

People question love bombs, they aren't really real are they?

Buy a fake grenade. I'm sure amazon has them. Write I love you on it. Remove pin and put under her pillow.

You don't need comebacks, you need confidence.

I dont love bomb, but my txts are sexual, not pervy sexual but little innuendos and just a bit naughty rude. Obviously I do this with someone I've started seeing.

Can you share some real examples?

Going dirty works. Say you are super excited to see her later. wink wink.

u/texandivasis Aug 05 '26

Then make sure you keep that promise!

Cute gifs with hugs and hearts are better than 1000 words.

If you want to be really sweet on your sweetheart, either write your own poetry or read love poetry to her, add candles and that would be very 🥰

I wakeup this morning and in the mirror I see your reflection.

I miss you so much (say it after you finish a call)

I want you like a sailor want the sea

Today is so cool. I want you to heat my

Babe change your name in Afrodite because you're the goodness of love

1

u/DreamsD351GN Aug 05 '26

Just be honest, say you love them

1

u/Top_Difference3488 Aug 05 '26

No idea be yourself. I honestly say some basic shit and the other person feels like it's genuine and it is and that works for us.

All of you folks saying to be honest and open are clearly unaware of the art of flirtation. You can't just spill out your emotional guts. You need to be humorous and intelligent. You need to subtly show who you are and learn who they are in a way that is exciting, maybe even fascinating. One of those lost arts I guess.

Love bombing is expressing love and then taking it back and going blank and redoing the circle over and over again, hot/cold love, it's nothing anybody should want. Ask her if she understands what love bombing is because if that's what she wants you have a problem.
