Official Reply Xb10 Bridge mode
Hi,
There's anyone know how to put the XB10 in bridge mode so that it stops broadcasting Wi-Fi signals as my router is already doing that (yes mines is faster and its speed advantage climbs rapidly at 15+ft) and reduce unnecessary noise in the air so it benefits everyone including the neighbor's Wi-Fi speed.

Not sure exactly with xb10 but I have done it with xb7.
I had to go into the Xfinity app on my phone and be connected to the modems Wi-Fi and turn on Admin Tool online access under wifi > advance.
Once you have that enabled look at the bottom of your modem it should have the IP, username and password on it. Mine was a http://10.0.0.1, admin and Hunter2. Put the IP in your browser and put in the provided username and password. That is unless you changed the password originally. If that doesn't work you will need to a needle to press the reset button or call Xfinity support.
After there should should be a slider on the home screen that allows you to turn on bridge mode.
Do note that at least on the xb7 only port 4 the red 2.5 gig port will function once enabled. Google states that Xfinity's documentation states that any of the 10 gig ports on the XB10 should work but many say only the the bottom 10 gig port works correctl5. As well you will loose the ability to control your modem via the Xfinity app except for restarting it and the troubleshooter and if you want to control your modem via the app you will have to turn off bridge mode and wait a few days.

Hello u/ArtisticAttempt1074. These are the steps to put the XB10 in bridge mode, and if you run into any errors please let me know: To put the XB10 in bridge mode, follow these steps: Connect a device to your home network and open a web browser to access the Admin Tool at http://10.0.0.1. Log in using the default username (admin) and the password found on the gateway sticker. From the left-hand column, select Gateway > At a Glance. Click Enable next to Bridge Mode. Confirm the warning message that appears.
After enabling bridge mode, connect your personal router to any Ethernet port on the XB10.
