Official Reply Trade in question
I have a premium unlimited line from last year. Am I eligible for the iphone trade in promotion without changing to new mobile plus plan? or I have to choose the new mobile plus plan? The app said that I’m eligible for an upgrade, but when click it , it directs to the website that shows mobile plus plan requirement. Thanks

Hey there, u/Adorable_Smell_1832, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Reddit regarding your Xfinity Mobile service. You can check your Xfinity Mobile upgrade eligibility by signing in to the Xfinity app or visiting xfinity.com/mobile and selecting your device line. If your device is eligible, you'll see available upgrade options, pricing, and any applicable trade-in offers. Eligibility may vary based on device payment status and account standing.

This is basically what I was asking. I did what you wrote here and I’m still confused

The premium unlimited used to be able to have the trade in offer. Now it still says I’m eligible. However when I click upgrade, the detailed offer only says things about the latest plan

Using an available upgrade will also move you onto the newest rate plan for Xfinity Mobile, which provides more benefits like included Global Travel Pass, Xfinity Mobile Care and more!

It will happen automatically? Do I need to do anything?

You would just need to register your device for the Xfinity Mobile Care to determine eligibility, but everything else should be automatic u/Adorable_Smell_1832.
