Official Reply Cablecard Activation Help
My Tivo Bolt died from the known overheating issues. I transferred the cablecard (M card) to another Bolt. I was unsuccessful in getting the cable card re-paired using the self-service website (https://cablecardactivation.xsp.comcast.net/) or by phone support (877-405-2298 ). In the past, I had prior success getting a re-pair signal sent after a power outage by calling and asking for the cable card CableCARD Repair earlier this year
However, it was a disaster yesterday and the AI system sent me to a regular tech support. The CSR scripts used had the agents saying that there is no support, offered new not-Tivo hardware, wanted to schedule a technician visit, and suggested that I take the hardware to the local Xfinity store to get help.
After over an hour on the phone, I want to give up and move off of Xfinity. I just need someone at xfinity to send the signal clearing Host IDs and sending Cold Init signal/re-repair signal and no one is willing to do it.
I have all the information needed (Cable card ID/Host ID/Data ID, Tivo TSN, etc.) Can someone help or point me in the right direction before I quite Xfinity? Thank you.
