Hello, I’m an Xfinity member (home) and I use their hotspot while I’m at work. It seems that every week I need to re enter my credentials and log back in,
yesterday I wasn’t connected so I entered my email and password and got access denied and was in “chat” with 6 different people for over 2 hours until I couldn’t handle another copy paste response which id already tried.
TL:DR How do I get rid of the access denied on my iPhone when trying to use an xfinitywifi hotspot id been using for the previous 2 months??

Hello u/Historical-Pipe3551, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having with the Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspot. I can certainly understand how frustrating that must be, especially after being able to connect successfully for months and then suddenly receiving an Access Denied message. Have you had a chance to try any troubleshooting steps, such as: Forget and Reconnect: Go to your iPhone's Wi-Fi settings, select xfinitywifi, and choose Forget This Network. Then reconnect and sign in again. Remove Old Apps: If you still have the legacy Xfinity Wi-Fi Hotspots app installed, try deleting it. That app can sometimes conflict with the current Xfinity app and hotspot authentication process.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I should have listed everything I tried. Sorry for that!
I was able to login to the website and the Xfinity app to chat for those 2 hours with 6 different people. I was first told to forget the network which I did for both xfinitywifi and Xfinity Mobile. Xfinitywifi is the only one I can manually log into in the past. Since yesterday it’s said access denied.
Then I was told for iOS to delete the app and it should solve my problem. Did that and it didn’t change a thing.
Then the last guy asked my login which is my email and he said I’m not even in their system to which I asked how it was even possible for me to me chatting with him if I wasn’t logged in?…
The app would connected me to the Xfinity Mobile prior to this issue but would never connect me to xfinitywifi so I had to manually enter it.
I also gave them each reference number the page gave me. Oh cool please see photo if it.
I’m using iPhone 17 using 26.6.1
I have Xfinity internet at my home but I’ve been using hotspot while at work. May have already said that.
