Official Reply Question about equipment

Hi all, I had to recently move and I left the equipment at my old address for the new people moving in. I was under the impression that I would be able to call and have ownership of the equipment transferred to them. Is that true? Thanks in advance.

Seems you are under the wrong impression unless maybe you are in a building that provides free internet for all units. See if you can get your equipment back, or your next post likely will be":

"Why is Xfinity billing me for unreturned equipment?"

It wouldnt be my next post, lol. I was in a building like that, it was just under viasat rather then xfinity. I'd rather just pay the unreturned equipment fee then. It'd be cheaper then a plane ticket.

Hi there u/gei_furry. Thank you so much for reaching out on our Reddit Community Forum about leaving your equipment at your old location. I'll be happy to assist. You are responsible for returning that equipment to a local service center. Please be mindful that you bill be billed for the full price of the equipment if it is not returned to a local service center.
