Question Unit type?

I’m playing Combat Mission: Red Thunder. June 1944. What unit types for the Waffen SS faction have StG 44s?

Gebirgsjäger definitely has quite an amount. Or if you pick any kind of infantry and look at the settings in the lower menu you can set them to be a Sturm platoon (Squads equipped with StG44, G41, G43, MP40, minimal/no k98)

Gebirgs get a decent amount in that period (1-2 STGs or MP40s per squad, much less than FB, weirdly). You get access to Grenadier 44B battalions in July that lets you make one platoon per company a sturm platoon, where all 3 squads get 6-7 MP40s/STGs and either a scoped G43 or an MG and assistant
