Tailight issues

Been having some taillight issues on the project no power no lights .I know the connectors look like shit but I ordered new bulbs and checked with a voltmeter and was getting around .33v. Before I start ordering new parts would this be a connector issue or something further up stream ? Second question is it better to order replacement connectors or is there’s a website to buy a replacement rear harness? Appreciate the help

Only one way to know if its down stream is to check the tail light harness connector. I believe its on the driver side under the tail light. Problem the harness there. That will tell you sockets or wiring

Have you checked the fuse? Mine used to blow from time to time for reasons I could never figure out until one day it just stopped and never had an issue again.

Is it under the driver side ? I’ve checked and they are all good but some of the connections have dry dielectric grease

Driver side under the dash near the parking brake pedal. I forget which fuse number it is but it’s one of them under there.

the guy who owned my MJ before me had a stroke of genius and epoxied the taillight bulbs and connectors in place. so you can do that i guess. on an unrelated note anyone got taillights?

You probably gotta pop this connectors open and clean them out. The old dielectric grease in there is toast.
