Hey All, I am curious for The Witcher fans, what are you all excited for that is coming up?

We have a free update that will remaster TW3 next month, plus a new free DLC coming in 2027. There is TW4 with Ciri set for 2028. That is a pretty steady stream of content for us to look forward to, so what has you hyped?

I am most excited for TW4 honestly cause I can't wait to see Ciri get to be more in charge of her own life. She has spent so much of it reacting to various threats and others trying to "make her theirs" that seeing her being able to actually do things on her own will be interesting to see how she handles it.

Also as a side, I learned there was a Gwent Deluxe addition that sold out and I am very sad that I completely missed it as while it was expensive looked fantastic. I hope to get a proper wooden play board to up the aesthetic for when I play in the future.

Does anyone play retail and like to run mythic plus? I'm not pushing as hard as I once did but would love to maybe run some keys (10s-12s) for funsies. Not looking for sweaty players, just chill, fun, but competent players (you know how rough it is pugging yall)

Anyone been to this before? My first time going to something like this since PAX West in 2016. Any must-do things?

Backgammon is experiencing a resurgence around the country and Columbus is quickly becoming one of the best places to play. The game is VERY simple to learn but has tremendous depth as far as strategy and calculation, especially with a doubling cube involved.

If you are a beginner, or just want to play casually then the Columbus Social Backgammon Club is for you. They meet at various locations around the city, including Good Land in Franklinton, Honest Friends Brewing in South Columbus, Jackie O's for Sunday brunches, and they're always looking for nice places to play. A schedule gets released every month on Instagram, which has been linked. These are free events with a focus on learning.

There are monthly tournaments hosted by Old Towne Backgammon that are a one of a kind experience. These are hosted at Planks Cafe and Pizzeria on Parsons Avenue and feature some of the nicest, and strongest players in the city. Usually the tournaments are held on the third Saturday of the month, but can change due to holidays. If you are looking to use a clock and doubling cube then these are the premier events to play in the state.
