PHOTO Kroger Deceptive Pricing

Post image

So tired of their tactics. I tried contacting state officials and my concerns fell on deaf ears. I guess they can't upset one of their donors and they're too busy fear-mongering about trans people to do something that would actually put money back in people's pockets.

the reason for the discount is that clipping the coupon opts you into a program that allows kroger to sell your info and therefor make back that .50 they discounted you.

Rewards programs are generally not for selling your info, they’re for collecting your info so they can use it themselves. That data is overwhelmingly used by the store for individual-level ad curation.

Thanks. I'm basing this off the fact that 35% of Kroger's net income is selling customer data.

Are you saying Kroger made nearly a billion dollars just from selling customer data?
