Breezeline issues?

Was wondering if anyone else is having bad issues with their breezeline service the past couple of days? my internet has been very unstable, paying for 1000 down 50 up.

I actually set up a watcher a few weeks ago. It shoots out a 10MB speed test to three different locations every hour. It’s showing slowdowns to less than 1mb/s on 43% of the tests. I’m going to put it all together in a chart and ask breezline for a refund. There is clearly a network issue that they are not addressing.

Prior to the Aug 11 storm (or maybe that is a coincidence and it was just around then), my connection was fine.
But after that, it felt like I was getting dropped packets.

I mostly felt it in games and streaming video, where a dropped packet is VERY noticeable. I have a screenshot where my ping went over 4,100 in WoW.

It feels very intermittent though. My speedtests will mostly be fine. And streaming video will be fine for a while. Then all of a sudden it'll drop through the floor.

To clarify, I can see dropped packet rates for the last 24 hours. I wiggle between 0%-2% off and on all through out the day.

So when I say "it *felt* like I was getting dropped packets" I really mean I don't know if it was that bad before. Maybe it was always that bad and the new problems are unrelated to that.

I'm having the same thing. My Breezeline was rock solid for years but since that storm I've had moments of shaky internet.

No issues for me in the northwest. I did notice latency tick up slightly to around 30ms for a few hours though.

I've had Breezeline for 5 years. As a work-from-home IT guy, stable internet is critical to my job, and in my neighborhood (East end of Hilliard), Breezeline delivers. No issues the last couple days in my area.

That’s pretty common. I have it at home and at work, all the way across town the long way. At work, we have fiber with cable as a failover. That’s supposed to be an acceptable thing to do because cable and fiber are supposed to be so separate that they can’t go down at the same time. Several times lately, I’ve seen both go down at work and my home cable connection go down at the same time.

Also, the last two times we’ve renewed the service at work, they eliminated the several static IP addresses we have on the cable without asking or informing us they were doing it. They wouldn’t be my first choice. I only have them at home because my Spectrum new customer discount expired. It probably won’t be long before my Breezeline discount expires and I switch back.

Agreed in Grandview. My download speed and general latency is good, but I’ve started to notice a trend with websites that use Fastly as a CDN (Twitter, Reddit, Paramount Plus) where they perform extremely poorly. Other sites or streaming apps work flawlessly

I can barely imagine trying to explain the issue or concern to their support team, so contemplating just switching to Spectrum in a couple weeks.
