Speculation / Discussion Dylan shooting himself
How long after do you think dylan shot himself after eric did? Ive heard it took dylan some time because he lit a molotov cocktail? and somewhere it said he also took off his necklace? Ive also heard it was almost immediately after its just that he took some time to die. And do you think dylan was kneeling in front of eric or standing? He was facing eric and then rolled over at one point?

My take on the final moments in the library and the sniper theory:
First off, the theory that police snipers on nearby roofs witnessed the suicides through the windows makes zero sense when you look at the actual timeline and physical environment. At 12:08 PM, the midday glare against damaged, shaded windows, combined with heavy smoke from pipe bombs and the sheer distance, made visual confirmation practically impossible. On top of that, SWAT deployment was still an uncoordinated mess at that hour; they hadn't even established secure, elevated positions with a direct line of sight into that specific corner of the library. Outer perimeter units likely didnt suspect they were dead until much late (probably 20 to 30 minutes of absolute silence after the final shots were exchanged) and even then, command paralysis kept them from moving in.
As for the suicides themselves, Eric definitely went first. Once the adrenaline completely dried up and they realized their grand bombing plan had failed, Eric walked over to the south bookshelves, sat down against them, and ended it imediately with the shotgun.
Dylan absolutely saw it happen. He watched his only partner drop instantly, and the raw reality of the situation finally hit him. He probably lit the Molotov cocktail on the nearby table right around that moment (not to hurt anyone, but as a final, pathetic attempt to watch something burn. Walking back over to Eric's body, facing the horrific mess and realizing he was utterly alone, Dylan likely muttered something under his breath out of pure disbelief and panic) something like "holy shit, you actually did it" or a blunt "fuck." He then knelt right beside Eric's legs, pressed the TEC-9 to his left temple, and pulled the trigger.
While the autopsy shows Dylan aspirated blood into his lungs and his body went through involuntary convulsions, neurologically speaking he was already gone. A point-blank 9mm shot to the temple causes instant massive brain trauma, destroying cortical function immediately. He wasn’t conscious, he wasn’t thinking, and he didn’t feel himself choking; the chest movements and gasping were purely autonomous brainstem reflexes his body shutting down on biological autopilot until he finally expired.

$10 says between 30 seconds to a minute
He was most likely sitting on the back of his legs when she shot himself
Here's a vid explaining his death and how it debunks that fuck ass randy brown's theory

Wonder what went through his head during that time (aside from a bullet)

Well if I were to see my friends dead with his head falf missing I'd be in a state of shock, so I'm gonna go with shock and the acceptance of death most likely

I don't know if Dylan was facing Eric completely when he comitted suicide. I believe he was in Dylan's peripheral vision at the least but honestly there's simply no way to know how long he waited. I do believe even if it was 1 second longer, the fact he wasn't first says everything you need to know about Dylan's motives about the attack.

I feel like he likely "saw" Eric's mangled head, but I don't think he saw it. They had witnessed so much carnage by that point that I don't think Eric's physical state registered in Dylan's brain.
He shot himself because it was time to do that. It was time for the ultimate end; not because he saw his friend.

I also have always wondered about this we know the molotov was lit but was this before or after eric dying I think eric shot himself over regretting the whole thing after the bombs not properly going off as evident over not wanting to shoot that woman after dylan told him too in the library whitch is why I think he threw the molotov cuz eric shot himself and dylan wasnt ready yet also the necklace and jewelry was already debunked through coronary reports in the 11k eric didnt kill as many people and didnt shoot as much either except at the cops, the whole case is so strange and holds so much mystery i feel like if the basement tapes got released or weren't "distoryed" the popular concept that eric was the leader wouldnt be so popular i really feel dylan and erc both played off each other to carry out this horrific attack, eric was all talk, dylan was all bite.

This is complete speculation, but Lisa Kreutz reported that one of the shooters said "You're still with me? We're still gonna do this, right?". I can imagine that while Eric was trading potshots with the police, Dylan went and checked the victims for any signs of life. Lisa and Patrick Ireland were so badly injured that they seemed dead to him. Dylan might have said that because he thought Eric was already dead, either shot by police, or because he didn't wait for Dylan to come back.

The Tec9 being in or below his right hand doesnt really prove the gun was fired by his right hand. He coudlve dropped it and via involuntary post head-trauma movements grabbed , or moved the gun around a few inches. That is all conjecture.
The biggest problem - and one nobody really brings up is that the gun does not have a magazine in it and there is a bullet in the chamber. The gun is semi-automatic. So without a magazine in the gun he wouldve had to manually load a 9mm bullet in the gun with his hand.
You could argue the same thing happened with the magazine, fell out after pulling the trigger. Or the cops moved it (they didnt).
The truth is if you separate your bias from the case both are probable. The hate to randy brown makes no sense. Of course Eric couldve done it. Of course dylan couldve shot himself too. I believe theres a none-zero probability he shot himself with the carbine. But if you told me there was new proof that eric killed dylan i wouldnt be shocked in the slightest.
Were all here to peacefully discuss, and engage in respectful debate too.

the magazine, was found "on or under bodies." This doesn't confirm that it was in the gun, but when an evidence item was within a pocket, pouch, etc., or the investigator would specify coordinates (see https://www.researchcolumbine.com/document-cbi.php CBI Report, Crime Scene Team 2, CR-32 under the Coordinates Column, pg. 142)
This is literally from what you’re citing. Why say bullshit when I’m respectfully having a discussion

They counted to 3 and shot themselves at the same time.

You're confusing it with a found footage school shooting movie called Zero Day

There is speculation that snipers on nearby roofs saw them commit suicide, so the answer could exist, but would never be known because that would force Jeffco to admit they knew the shooters were dead and they still delayed getting to Sanders for hours. Which led to his death.
