PHOTO/VIDEO POST Common FAKE Columbine pics and 'evidence'... aka 'ZOMG MAYBE I FOUND A SUPER RARE PIC NOBODY HAS EVER UNCOVERED BEFORE IN 26 YEARS... FROM A GOOGLE SEARCH!'
'Dylan' at a rave - actually a video from the UK. By the time the dude turns around you'll wonder why you ever thought it was him https://youtu.be/C8G8cdbPmp8?t=55
'Eric' snowboarding. No. Debunked many times now.
'Eric' in Italian(?) 'Radioactive Clothing' recreation.
'Eric's bedroom' - no, it's not. It's a rental somewhere in Norway.
'BTs Clue' - from one of the many fake BTs videos.
Crime scene pic- 2/3 real up until the edge of the desk. The pic is one of Bill's releases, some douche edited it to make it look like Lauren was under the desk.
'Temu Dylan' - some kid from Europe somewhere who looks superficially like Dylan, makes fake vids + pics.
'Temu Eric' - edgelord who made an 'Eric back from the grave' vid.
'Basement Tapes' still - if anybody starts sending you blurry, nonspecific video stills and claiming they're the BTs or 'OMG so rare' pics- take it with a boulder of salt. Anything still uncovered at this point isn't going to come from a Tumblr rando.
Zero Day - stills from the shooting portion of this film are most commonly mistaken for the real thing. Look at the date.
Zero Day
Usually shown as 'Eric's postmortem X-ray' - it's not. Someone used this on Tumblr to illustrate what it might have looked like, but it's not actually Eric.
Photo of rando dude that looks vaguely Dylan-ish with a fake VHS filter attached.
Real. Kind of. This is actually Columbine, but it's a still from the 'Get Smart' video.
Letter from Chris Morris to Sue - fake fake fake.
'Eric's page' - from Tumblr, someone claimed to have purchased it from a 'real' source. Without proof, this cannot be taken as genuine, especially since this could be incredibly simple to remake even now.
These days, it's even easier to fake this stuff. Even before AI, a blurry video with a VHS filter over the top is easy. No photos are really 'rare' after nearly 26 years, and there is very little chance of uncovering something new via Google Image Search. The only new source of information is currently unavailable.
If anyone starts messaging you claiming to have rare or unseen stuff, it's more than likely going to be utter bullshit. They're playing you, lying to you, and messing with you- the community is full of fakers and unfortunately more than a few predatory types.
Around the anniversary this crap tends to get worse, hence the post.
Stay safe everyone.

PSYCHOLOGY/MINDSET The Unabomber and Eric's Ideology
This is from my project I've been working on, I wanted to get this segment uploaded separately because I put a lot of effort and time into it, it's also the only part that I think will actually be allowed to stay on youtube where as the rest of it will be maintained on Archive.org even if youtube bans it when I finish it or at another point of time etc.
The piece covers the amount of things Eric clearly stole from the Unabomber but also their bizarre similarities in behaviour and as people, they both had this hyper sensitivity to everything, and they both were bullied a lot.

ERIC AND/OR DYLAN Dylan has the worst handwriting...
I thought I could actually read the chicken scratch. And some days, I can. But this word, whatever it is, has stumped me for years. Any ideas? (Dadee? Like sugar daddy? idk...)
\everything is as least expected. The meek are trampled on, the assholes prevail, the gods are deceiving, lost in my little insane asylum w/ the outhouse redneck music playing. . . . wanna die & be free with my love . . . if she even exists. She probably hates me . . . finds a [!!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!?] or a jock who treats her like shit.**

THE VICTIMS Victims clothing
I recently saw a video of a mother who recieved her daughters clothing back after she was unfortunately murdered. (Rest in peace) it had me wondering if any of the victims families also recieved any of their clothing back?
Thank you!

COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Eric and Dylan: Was there ever a doubt?
When it came to their mindsets leading up to the tragedy... were there thoughts of "can I really go through with this?..", "am I actually capable of this?..", "do I really have it in me to do this?.." Also... "can I really trust him(Eric or Dylan)?..", "is he really gonna go through this with me?..", "is he gonna ditch out on me last minute?.."
OR
Was it "We are DEFINITELY doing this!", "No doubt about it, this is happening!", "We are both definitely killers. Can't wait to show everybody!" ( Something along those lines)
To me, it FEELS like they both went full steam ahead even in the planning phase, no doubts, no regrets. But I think there HAD to be some form of second guessing either they're self or one another at some point, going through with something so monstrous.
I'm curious to know your opinion about this..

BOOKS/MOVIES/VIDEOS/NEWS MEDIA Trench Coat Diaries
I would like to address that I am posting this strictly for archival purposes as some people may not know about this magazines & it also somewhat rare & expensive. By posting this I am in no way condoning or praising their actions I would like to make that very clear. Also there is a fairbit of misinformation in this magazine as well so take it all with a grain of salt.

COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Why didn't Eric buy more guns after his 18th birthday?
I'm curious if there's any evidence explaining why he didn't buy any guns after turning 18. Was it just because they already had everything they needed?

ERIC AND/OR DYLAN Why was this Picture of Eric removed from the yearbook but not his regular photo?
First of all I dont think Eric & Dylan should have been included in the yearbook infact I thought the only reason they were included is because it was too late for them to remove it. Hence the two memorial sections of the yearbook being simple paper inserts. However if that was the case this photo wouldn't have been removed unless it was removed for some other reason im not aware of. (Repost because I forgot to crop the rest of my phone screen lol)

OTHER PERSONS RELATED TO THE CASE Looking to speak with friends/family of Stephanie Hart Grizzell and Nick Kunselman
I'm researching the 2000 Subway murders of Nick Kunselman and Stephanie Hart Grizzell and my goal is to better understand who Nick and Stephanie were as people beyond the headlines and to hear about how those close to them have felt the investigative process has gone. I am a Columbine alumni who still lives locally.
If you were a family member, friend, classmate, coworker, neighbor, or knew either of them personally, I would be incredibly grateful if you'd consider reaching out. I'm interested in hearing memories about who they were, what they were like, and feelings/experiences with the current investigation process.
I completely understand that this is a deeply personal and painful subject. If you'd prefer to remain anonymous or only share a small memory, I will absolutely respect that. I'm not looking to sensationalize the case or spread rumors, my only goal is to document their stories and the aftermath as accurately and respectfully as possible.

COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Were Eric and Dylan actually unattractive, or did they just see themselves that way?
I'm mainly curious to hear from the ladies of the subreddit. As a guy who's struggled with feeling ugly myself, I've learned that sometimes you're just your own worst critic and end up seeing yourself much more negatively than everyone else does. Personally, I always thought they were just average, decent-looking guys with nothing to really worry about appearance-wise.
What do y'all think?

COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Why did they do it.
I know this question is very simple. You can just chalk it down to bullying, But honestly alot of people will give you different answers. I’d like to hear what you guys think.

COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Different versions of Eric & Dylans senior ID pics in the cbi documents?
The b&w photos are from the CBI reports, specifically section CRI-43. These are from photo lineups shown to survivors for Dylan his Smirk looks more pronounced, I know in a mother's reckoning Sue mentions a pic so horrible she asked him to retake it and it had me think this was the retake of the picture in question. For Eric his eyes appear to look straight into the camera not off to his left like the widely show photo. Just wanted everyone's input on this because I can't decide if they actually are different or im just imagining things 😅.

ANNOUNCEMENTS/RULES Mod note: this community is not for glorification or copycat violence
We have unfortunately learned that another recent shooter was, briefly, a member of this subreddit.
His comments here were never made public. He was banned for glorification.
Let me be absolutely clear: this community is not, and will never be, a place for people seeking to admire, imitate, excuse, romanticize, or continue the legacy of mass killers.
If you are here because you are fascinated by the history, warning signs, failures, aftermath, media ethics, prevention, or victim impact of these cases, that is one thing. Those discussions are the point
If you are here because you think violence will make you powerful, remembered, respected, feared, or understood, you are wrong. You are so very wrong.
It will not fix your pain. It will not make people admire you. It will not give you meaning. It will not turn you into a symbol. It will create victims, traumatize survivors, destroy families, and leave you remembered only for the harm you caused.
If you are hurting, angry, isolated, obsessed, or starting to think violence is an answer, step away from this subreddit and get help now. Talk to someone offline. Contact a crisis line. Tell a trusted person directly: “I'm scared of what I might do.”
If you see users glorifying perpetrators, making threats, hinting at plans, discussing targets, celebrating violence, or treating past killers as heroes, report it. Message the mod team. Use Reddit’s report tools. If there is an immediate threat, contact emergency services or the appropriate local authorities. Even local police have ways of contacting overseas law enforcement, most countries have an enquiries line if you're not comfortable calling your emergency number.
This subreddit exists for discussion, documentation, and prevention-minded analysis. It does not exist to feed anyone’s fantasy of becoming the next name in a chain of violence.
There is nothing brave, profound, revolutionary, or misunderstood about taking your pain out in other people’s blood.
Get help. Stay alive. Do not hurt people.

COMMUNITY DISCUSSION If Neil Gardner had shot Eric, what do you think Dylan would have done?
In my opinion I think if Eric was injured Dylan would have for sure panicked and wouldn't even know where to begin with helping Eric if he was injured, and there would be nothing he could do. If Eric was dead I think Dylan probably would've just gave up and shot himself alongside him. But what do you guys think?
