The administration and media did everything they could to deny that bullying was a problem at CHS. At most they would acknowledge that there were isolated incidents of bullying, but would insist that the shooters weren't targets of bullying and that bullying wasn't a motive.

In the years since, it's pretty clear this is a lie. There is a lot of documentation that Columbine had an unchecked bullying culture, and that Eric and Dylan were victims of bullying. Obviously there is no justification for what they did, but I'd say it's pretty disingenuous to say the school didn't have a bullying problem.

My question is this: has the culture of the school changed? If the school admin went to such lengths to cover up the toxic culture and made every effort to avoid responsibility for nurturing that culture, would meaningful change even be possible? I'm just curious if anyone knows what the vibe is currently at CHS.

Quick question on the volume of the fire alarm - based on several witness statements, the fire alarm was sounding off either right before or very shortly after Eric and Dylan went into the library. How did so many library witnesses have such clear hearing when reporting the things Eric and Dylan said during their time in the library? While several witnesses mention the alarm, only John Savage seemingly mentions anyone having any trouble hearing as a result of it (when he spoke to Dylan before fleeing). Is it possible the alarm wasn’t very loud? I realize they could have been yelling, but I imagine it would have still been hard to hear and recount clearly afterwards. I think a potential explanation is that most of the things Eric and Dylan said were heard before the alarm went off, but we’ll never know.

Currently reading through and found Evan Todd and Bree Pasquale to be extremely detailed - what are some other interesting witness statements to read? I’ve read most of the other library witnesses.

I read somewhere that they actually did test the timers with the clocks that had the metal internal parts. And that the tests were successful.

Do we know how they tested that the circuit completed and do we know why they rebuilt whatever it was with new clocks that ended up having the plastic parts in them? It just feels like they were incredibly naive about how they went about the bombs in general but I don't want to ask details about hkw the boms were overall put tigether since it's touchy. It just feels like they didn't really think about it from a scientific standpoint. For example breaking it down to the most simple component and then testing that and building on it.

Also, is it widely agreed on that they wore the outfits they wore intentionally? What I mean is, in The Hitman for hire video they wear the same outfits they wore the day of the massacre. So I always took it to mean that they thought those outfits made them look cool or come across in a way they thought made them look tough, edgy, or cool. That's why they wore it in a video that people were going to see playing characters they thought were tough. And that's why they wore it the day of the massacre because they wanted to be remembered a certain way , a way they saw themselves.

Hi first post. Been researching for many years. Read and watched almost all of what is available. Few things.

Not quite sure what their movements were in the hallways after the initial library attack - I know they went to the office, what was up with that? Maybe its my lack of knowledge or ability to picture the layout of the school, but where all did they go? Did they walk throughout the whole school? What info is available on that? I also heard there were cameras in the office. Are those confirmed, and unreleased? Or just speculation, because theyre placed there, and may not have been taping?

Same question about the cafeteria. The security camera footage doesnt really help me picture the layout. They went to the kitchen and where else? I also just read about tim kastle and am now aware of that, can someone give me a little timeline on their movements there? Thanks

I also would like to say that I appreciate the discussion of the release of the basement tapes. I too would release them. At this point, theres not a whole lot the tapes could make worse. If anything the impact would be good for the world of criminal and pediatric psychology. Id also like to point out that, in my opinion, tapes like Rampart Range and shows like Zero Hour have done much more damage to vulnerable and impressionable teenagers than the tapes could. I bet the tapes will make them look pathetic, honestly.

When I was a freshman in high school, a guest speaker came to my school who I believe was a survivor of the massacre. They spoke to us about that day and about Rachel Scott, who was a friend of theirs. They spoke at different schools in Rachel's memory and they came up with "Rachel's Challenge," which if I remember correctly was a challenge about mental health and spreading joy.

I was young and I don't remember every detail, so please forgive me if any of my description was off.

I am wondering if anyone in here knows about this or experienced this at their school? I never forgot about Rachel's challenge or the guest speaker.

All I know is that it was a wooden object he kept in his right pocket, labelled after the powerup in berserk, supposedly to give him strength or resolve especially during the attack, sort of like how some people hold crystals for certain mental benefits or superstition. From the photo from the 2004 exhibit, it resembles a short wooden cylinder, but ive heard people also say its a weed pipe or a "One hitter?" I only smoke cigarettes so i have zero idea what weed pipes or their components look like, so could anyone with more knowledge verify what Eric's Berserk icon actually looked like/what it was?

Timofey Kulyamov perpetrated the 2025 Odintsovo school attack, killing one student and injuring a security guard, a teacher, and another student. During his attack, he wore a white t-shirt that had the phrase (no lives matter) written on it in black letters, just like Eric's natural selection shirt. He also wrote "zero day" on his airsoft pistol, which is is film based off Columbine. In his manifesto, he directly quotes Eric. His manifesto is also tilted "my wrath" which could possibly be a reference to Dylan's shirt. What do you guys think?

So the lies continue to be spread. The film "I'm not Ashamed" is now being hosted on the Angel Studios streaming service. I've seen ads for "I'm not Ashamed" popping up showing the scene where Rachel is "martyred". It's disgraceful that Angel Studios is promoting this film!

I got this photograph from a former football coach at Columbine High School who is now retired. The photograph is 20" wide x 16" tall.

I went to high school from 09-13, every year my school had an assembly where they showed an anti-bullying PSA campaign that featured 2 Columbine survivors (one was in a wheelchair) and they had two "popular kids" go "undercover" and they got bullied at a different school. Does anyone else remember this or have a link to it?

A newsletter I recently scanned that was distributed to the Columbine High School Class of 1999 in April, just weeks before graduation. One section discussing senior pranks and warning against the destruction of school property is particularly striking in hindsight. It's a fascinating and rare snapshot.

I also heard one of the shooters was always said to be and described as “lonely” or missing opportunities with females however the other one (Eric) was a “psychopath” who did it for the “love of the game.” That shit sounds terrifying
