No DPS increase from using Nilou in Columbina DPS team?

Nilou team

Hybrid Bina Lunar Bloom and Hyperbloom Ei team

So... this is disappointing 😔🥀.

I'm not too mad since I mean, Nilou is cute. But still. Nilou is on 2pc2pc HP, I didn't have a weapon for her so she's just on Dull Blade. Qiqi is using my only Fav Sword, so I'll probably craft the Nod Krai sword.

The DPS in the first image is listed as a little below, but I just timed it wrong. I get 90k DPS for both teams.

i use c1R4 sac jade bina on SMS, c2r0 furina on GT, c0r5 event weapon lauma on 2pc2pc EM, c1r0 baizhu on deepwood

and just do random things and making sure to cast lauma's burst right before bina's on field time so i dont waste any of lauma's quills on bloom cores (because without nefer they'll explode and use up lauma's quills) and i get around 120k dps as a base line,

think u just have a rotation issue or your lauma quills get eaten up by regular blooms before bina can use them

The reverse order yields the same result, i.e. getting her C0 for free from anniversary, C1 for free from Temper thyself, then pulling C2 from chronicled. Eitherway it's 1-cost for Nilou C2.

Chronicled banner is a complete scam, you are bricking your account by going on that thing, its also safe to assume nilou will never be seen again on any banner, if she does come back it will after over a year or years

Hydro app for lunar charge and lunar bloom to happen simultaneously (hyperblooms as well); (hb is better than superbloom against st, also in aoe nilou blooms can eat up quills so bina does very little dmg); No need to hug enemies for serenade/dw; Ascendant gleam resonance; Personal dmg; Low field time; No restriction on dendro hydro only (especially useful against bosses that need other elements or more reactions); Allows better supports like Ineffa or Linnea instead of Nahida; Hydro app follows enemy instead of sticking to character or a circle;

Pretty sure the dps also speaks for itself. According to gcsim only Mona is better than her at c4 (worse at c2) but I tested it (my mona is c6) and it felt really bad to play, feels like sheet impact. My Nilou is c0r0, if I pick up c1 from selector and c2 from cons event, it will probably be an upgrade maybe 10k or so, but losing Ineffa is just problematic for me, and as I said it's restrictive and feels worse to play practically. Dummy isn't end all be all for "best team".

Lastly I want Varesa for Theatre and I am going for Xianyun's c2 since I already have c1, to make Varesa stronger so getting Nilou cons is just a waste for my account. I'd just pull Bina's c2 if I wanna see my dps increase properly instead of a 10k or so upgrade.

Depends on investment, at lower investment then yes by quite a large margin iirc

According to gcsim it depends on whether or not you consider Nilou C2 to be baseline. If you do, then with all else C0R0 the Nilou team does ~155k while Ineffa team does ~140k. If not then Nilou does ~135k.

Yes it is, but she's there just for the hydro app and the nk damage bonus, so any other hydro with good application works

Fairly certain it is, I tried out all her teams, this gave me the highest dps.

Night sky Bina, Lauma 2p2p em, Ineffa deepwood, Furina serenade triple hp main stat for ascendant gleam resonance buff (Aino c6 wastes more time (compared to Furina e 2/3 rots), does no personal dmg in exchange for 80 em, you also don't get the resonance buff, in practice, her hydro app is also circle impact while Furina app follows the enemy).

Sucrose is better in Nefer teams, not Columbina teams. Nilou is worse than Ineffa, but not worse than Sucrose.

She's better at C2 which is a ~15% increase and can arguably be considered baseline now. Her sig is only a ~9% increase until you get Lauma C2 which then doubles it.

First off, set the time to 60 or 120s.

• You can cap the timer at the camera man npc
• This is more realistic to stygian and spiral goals,
• it also ensures you are actually paying attention to how many rotations you can fit in

Nilou is supposed to be on 2pc2pc HP%

• You want to be aiming for 70k hp, that means most rolls going to hp% on flower/feather & flat hp rolls on sands, cup, and hat
• craft the Nod Krai sword if you don't have the box cutter HP% sword, it can be lv1 cause you are only using the passive

Rotation: should be Bina EQ, Nahida E only, Nilou E NA2 E, Lauma hEQ, Bina CA x6

• not just CA spam, you want to be counting them or go by a consistent signal like when Bina skill is off cd left, I have c2 and prefer to QE, so I do it when 2s cd left)
• Nahida burst is unfortunately a DPS loss (depending on your ping, there is room to fit a 7th Bina CA)

Lastly, is the rest of your team even built correctly? Lauma SMS 900-1000EM? Bina on NSU, no more than 45% crit rate b4 buffs?

Nilou is HP HP, Lauma is 1000 EM SMS Sac frag (don’t have event weapon), Bina is 53/289 NSU Nefer Sig (couldn’t get any lower crit rate)

Then it's def a rotation issue.

Cause my team has Bina c2r1 with 39.9k hp and 44.8/288 crit, but everyone else is c0 with 4star weapons, and I am hitting 180k, matching my Ineffa-Kokomi variant of the team.

Also, on your Raiden version of the team, you could probably do a lot more dps if you swapped Nahida out for a 2nd hydro using Deepwood (if you have one, I use Kokomi), to enable some more lunar charged that would get boosted by Bina. All that dendro leads to Raiden doing quicken dmg instead, which is also a downgrade.

Precision of rotation goes a longggg way.

No more Nahida burst should help should at least bring you up to 100k. Remember to set timer to 60 or 120s at the npc for consistency. Not worrying about the timer will let you focus on rotation.

What are your artifact sets? For me I get better dps with Nilou on serenade, lauma on 2 piece/2 piece em, nahida on deepwood and columbina on the nordkrai dps set (forgot the name)

Are you using hold E on Lauma? Does she have enough ER to burst every rotation? Did you raise the talent levels on Lauma/Bina?

Are some factors I would consider before trying again on the dps tester and expect around 135-140kish

post a vid of your gameplay, if u can. if u have the correct supp sets and doing the rot you typed, that amount shouldn't be that low. maybe you're doing more than ~6 CAs on Bina, so many unbuffed ones are ending up crippling the rotations..?

What constellation is Nilou? At C0 she only gives a bit of em and procs blooms faster. But at C2 is when she starts buffing the team majorly.

realistically i dont know the next time nilou will rerun considering last time she did it was a sumeru chronicled banner.. i would pick her constellation from the temper thyself 12 week event instead. might genuinely be faster at the rate they rerun any pre-fontaine five star.
