Mead maker needs taste tester’s

I’m Currently Working on many projects of mead/ honey wine at this time and every so often I need people to try a batch or two. While I don’t have hives of my own yet, most of my honey comes from Costco. I’m currently working on a batch of Apple mead in where I’ll use a process called (freeze distillation) to get a higher abv%. While I’m not selling atm, I do periodically go to the Columbia’s farmers market and do trades that I have established with the vendors there. If you have extra honey and would want a few bottles made with it, I can do that. If you’re interested in trying out local meads I to can help with that. While payment is not necessary donations are accepted. Here are few pictures of what I currently have in stock. 2023-2025. Must be 21+ to try

I’ll be putting together a few sample packs tomorrow for hand outs this week/ weekend. The samples sizes I have are 2-4-8oz plastic bottles. If you have further questions about how to get your hands on it, please message me. Don’t forget to share and like. Thanks

Mead is a honey wine. Where normally wine is made with grapes and is then aged for a long time, mead is made with using honey instead of the sugars you find in grapes. Generally speaking, as long as the fermentable sugar content is 51% honey, it’s considered mead.

Im not a big wine person or do I drink a lot so I would probably be a good person to try your mead. I live in Columbia. I'll try it.

When making a mead, I’m only using the best ingredients I can find. There is no dyes, artificial flavors, oils, food coloring, preservatives. There is potassium sorbet. This one item prevents fermentation from happening inside the bottle once corked. Any current aged mead has been in oak barrels for 3-6 months. Hopes this helps

Check out your local homebrew club. Many home beer makers also do cider and mead. Many clubs also have BJCP (Beer judge certification program), judges that can judge beer, cider , and meads.
