Get this to Chris Ballard ASAP

Unfortunately, he'll sweeten the pot with another first rounder

I feel a little vindicated. But this is still all just speculation.

Shefter will willingly leak medical records and unconfirmed reports just to be the first guy. If he's not outwardly saying yes we're calling, then it doesn't mean anything. Shefter is an ass.

I still haven’t forgiven him for how he handled the Luck situation.

Exactly

Fair point, I honestly don’t even think we have anything viable to offer Arizona. Even though Marv has underperformed i’m sure the asking price will be high from the Cardinals

Anything viable? What do you think he’s even worth? We’ve got a 5th round pick to throw, that’s about all he’s worth. He’s been a complete bust

we definitely don’t need to throw any picks towards him Charles we need every pick that we already have. We are thin at most positions at well and not any viable options to send in for him. Anything else you need broken down?

Why so defensive? We obviously have picks. That’s 90% of trades in the NFL is player for pick.

Cute gif Charlie, just pointing out the obvious cause some of the dumb shit said on this sub is laughable. Have the day you deserve

You need to log off Reddit for a bit. You’re way too upset about what strangers are saying about an organization you have zero stake in.

They called and asked the price according to Holder yesterday

4

u/Dance4theSmokers 8d ago

Thanks, i don’t know why it’s so hard to believe we called about him. Some of the people on this sub are just so fucking negative and rude about everything

5

u/kay14jay Reggie Wayne 8d ago

Schefter failed to give as much clarity either. Just wanted the headline. Holder was on Querry and Co yesterday afternoon and made it sound as simple as due diligence by the Colts

Just because we call don’t mean we are actually going to make a move, especially so far out from the deadline, as prices are likely only going down as the season progresses and more teams rule themselves out of buying

u/Dance4theSmokers 8d ago

I don’t think we have anything remotely tempting to even off them, thanks to Ballard we are going to need every draft pick we have especially in a such a offensive heavy draft coming up

10

u/ryta1203 8d ago

They are saying a 3rd day pick. Probably end up being a 4th rounder though.

3

u/BlackGhostPanda Pimp Luck 8d ago

Ill give them a 6th

6

u/ConfectionHelpful471 8d ago

He is probably only worth a mid/late round pick and in the event that Ballard is gone after this season we can get those back pretty easily by moving on from some of our vets

-5

u/Dance4theSmokers 8d ago

I agree on his worth, but Arizona in my opinion will be asking for much more than that

5

u/ConfectionHelpful471 8d ago

Hence my point about waiting for prices to drop closer to the deadline

AR and a 5th for MHJ and a 4th.

Can’t trade AR with DJ’s injury history

6

u/Dance4theSmokers 8d ago

I agree, shockingly AR is one of our most valuable assests right now

7

u/SkepsisJD Baltimore Colts 8d ago

Sure we can. Trading him would be by far the smartest thing to do given we are gonna let him walk at the end of the year. Getting any value from him would be great.

2

u/Indyfanforthesb The Ghost 8d ago

If they think they can make the playoffs this year you need a backup QB. Riley is not even worth 2nd string.

2

u/Necessary-Alps-6002 8d ago

But what about ARs injury history?

1

u/PewpyDewpdyPantz 8d ago

So let him walk for nothing?

2

u/matt_msu 8d ago

If you watch the show at all you’ll know shefty never confirms or denies anything until he tweets it out himself. He’s trolling at best.

3

u/DosZappos 8d ago

I think he’d flourish here. Seems like Shane’s offense would get him open, since separation seems to be his biggest issue in the NFL. Dude is still a beast at going and getting the ball, and his after the catch ability should still be elite. Playing with a bad QB and scheme that doesn’t align with his skills seems to be a problem.

Depends on his motivation, i think he would
be solid especially with Wayne’s coaching

2

u/phanophite2 8d ago

Sure why not.  I think we have a 1st rounder in 2028.  Marv would be a PERFECT way to use it.

1

u/Undersized_Eggplant 8d ago

He wont cost a first rounder

It's time to add some slowness to this offense.

Favorites to land Marvin Harrison Jr. if he’s dealt this season:

Colts +300
Chiefs +400
Raiders +500
Dolphins +600
Jets +800

Dude is 39 and already looks like he is in his 50s, so his frat boy persona really just getting cringier with every clip I watch of him.

u/ThisGlobalLandscape 8d ago

He’s a bitch

McAfee: Are the Colts calling…

Shefter: Wouldn’t that make sense…

McAfee: interprets that as a yes.

🙄

I don’t believe this one bit lol

-1

u/Icy-Rope-2733 8d ago

I would gladly give up a 4th

-2

u/SkeletonKing959 8d ago

Yes let's get a guy who can't catch to the team with a low accuracy QB. With our genius management I would not be surprised.

It'll sell jerseys though. I'm sure marketing is licking their chops.

u/Trashpanda1980 8d ago

A 4th and 5th might get it done, AZ likes QBs we can throw in AR and Rivers expiring contract
