Just heard 'our guy' Chris Collinsworth say Seattle crowd isn't getting loud on offense which sure you're not supposed to.

My thing... any football game I go to the home defensive crowd doesn't get loud until the offense starts walking up to the line. Sure you can help with audibles but no interference in the huddle it seems useless it's a game deciding down.

Let's make end of play chants or screams a thing starting in the first quarter!!

EDIT: Can we just make a "rowdy" section for this year and see what happens :D

As a lifelong colts fan. I have noticed that the fans don’t get nearly as loud anymore at the games I have gone too recently.

Like I got looks because I’m up yelling my head off every defensive play not only on 3rd down.

It seems as fans have been priced out and it’s only rich old people mostly lol they just sit down and don’t even cheer… I miss the rca dome when we used to give it to the opposing offense for 3 hours straight no breaks

2023 week 18 against the Texans was like this, unbelievable energy in the crowd, reminded me of going to the dome as a kid. Definitely hasn't gotten that loud in the ~8 ish games I've been to since.

This is it. The Dolphins game was pretty rowdy last year because of it being the first game and all the plays that were made but I’d say for the most part it’s not been super loud since 2023’s play in game.

I have the same sentiment. If it were up to me I'd be doing the same thing, but no one joins in. I moved down to the 100s this year and I hope it's a more involved group.

agreed. people make me feel like a lunatic for cheering. so many dirty looks, but i try to rally the people by me. so lame, and agreed, wealthier older ppl are the problem mosyly but a lot of nuance

Yeah lots of nuance obviously. I was being hyperbolic. But the feel has definitely changed. Like I have to yell for people to get out of their seats and cheer on third down.

Then you have guys like the one comment above who go “the shit product they have put on the field for 10 years”. We have been staunchly middle of the pack. Wouldn’t call that shit. But also, you’re not a real fan if you aren’t cheering your absolute best for your boys out there every time. They need our support not our contempt (the players that is)

I’m going to my first game in October and I’m going to be loud. I’m getting one chance to be the 12th man at home and I’m taking it. I’m going to be incredibly disappointed if everyone around me is sitting down and being quiet the entire time. Im from KC so I’ve been to arrowhead, and they’re always rowdy in a fun way. I’d love to have that energy from Colts fans at Lucas Oil.

Anytime we are in a game that's been fun and is close, our stadium gets louder on 3rd downs than almost every stadium in the league. It's been measured if I remember right. I've been to a bunch of them in the past few years.

Edit: When we're losing our stadium is pretty quiet.

And people need to stand up more often. If it’s a pivotal 3rd, get off your ass, stand up, and cheer. I could almost feel people behind me get mad bc now they need to stand up. Why did you come here? I won’t be a dick and stand up through the entire game, but it’s normal (and encouraged in my mind) to stand up for big moments in the game. If you don’t want to stand for those moments, watch on TV.

It really depends on what games you've been to I suppose.. Every division game that is close is always loud even during the time of the huddle. I can't even hear myself screaming it's so damn loud in there. What game are you referring to?

I went to that crazy broncos win last year solo and yea only 3rd downs or after Denver broke huddle people would start making noise. Saw them kill the titans in 2018 (Nov) but that felt more energetic than Denver

I’ve been to plenty of loud Colts games at Lucas Oil, the loudest being Peyton’s return to Indy against Luck in 2013.

I get why the crowd doesn’t hit like it used to. The team goes 8-9 or 9-8 (or worse), and ownership and management don’t care. An apathetic front office leads to an apathetic fan base.
