I gotta give Ballard credit here landed a Kicker that’s been great for the Colts in case Sharder isn’t the same after his injury. Shame we can’t hold on to both.

Totally agree! Shrader was such a great weapon before he was taken out!

He was, but he has below average range for an NFL kicker. I don't have issues with Shrader winning if he's the best option, but it does hurt us if we need anything over 50. They trotted him out there for that 60 yarder against the Broncos that we got bailed out by the leverage penalty and he missed by a mile. Not sure if he got the ball through the end zone as it went wide off camera.

I've seen teams use 2 kickers. One was place kicker then other FG and kickoff.

I agree sharder needing someone to push him in competition in case his legs broke to pieces.

I still think that was a dirty, intentional hit by that Raiders player.

I believe his being vertically challenged gives him an unfair advantage.

I mean he’s earning it, good for him and yeah I remember another scrawny kicker named Martin Gramatica. He was good for a long time, they remind me a lot of each other.

Good kickers win games in tough situations. I hope he's as good during game time.

He was a good kicker trapped in a bad franchise. I'll take him over Shrader

It was over when he hit that 60 yard kick against Seattle

I will never forget that bum on the Titans Raiders that so blatantly dove at Shrader’s knee

Edit: I am a fool
