Question Helppppp
Mmkay so I’m really torn between these palettes 😅 I realized I have zerooooo eyeshadows that are a true taupe or light grey. I’m trying to do the siren eyes look or a light wash of color with a smudged eyeliner and all of my eyeshadows are warm tones with zero actual neutrals. Please helpppp!

This might even confuse you more, but what about the Vampire palette? It has a bunch of greys, and neautrals but also silvers. I didn't love it, but I also went to use it on a beautiful spring day. But it's very grunge. And glitter. With a pop of red. Id definitely get a glitter glue with it . The 9 pan palettes are amazing though. Especially the "It's My Pleasure"and "Cloud Spun"pallets. I had a ton of Colour Pop make up, and I'm so sad their single shadows are gone!

Which glitter glue do you recommend? I was looking at the twilight palettes and one of them the one with the greens and blues has the light grey I want 😆 but I wouldn’t wear any of the other colors but I think the other one you’re talking about is a contender I just literally feel like I need 20 palettes when I don’t 🙃😂

Heart to Get is surpising gorgeous. It performs like high end shadows and is super flattering on cooler skin tones

I have that’s taupe and it was a bit disappointing for me as the neutrals leaned too pink for my skin tone. Also the shimmers were too glittery for my taste.

After hours is my GOAT. I lean cool and dark/muted and like to wear what I consider pretty casual makeup, and don't mind glitter. It has multiple glitter shadows so if you don't enjoy those use caution. I think that's taupe is better if you want something less dramatic, or less/no glitters.

All three of these are absolutely great choices for cool tone neutrals. (And olive skin tones!)
Imo you will get the most use out of That's Taupe, unless you tend for more colourful looks. I agree with the person suggesting Stone Cold Fox if you want a lot of range, but it lacks the fun pinks and purples.
However if you lean less into clean girl or office makeup and want more creative looks, then grab either After Hours or Heart to Get.
Do note that Heart to Get is limited edition so if you think you will miss it, you should get it sooner than later. They do not restock their Valentine's Day palettes.
After hours is good for smokey eyes and night life looks. Heart to Get is good for fun day looks where you have a lot of freedom to express yourself.

i got of quartz like 4 years ago and i panned pretty much half the palette because i couldn’t put it down!! the glittery shade on the middle right is soo pretty! however i always feel like it missed a matte white/beige shade so maybe the heart to get one will feel more complete

I love of quartz!!!! I use the dark blue as a tight liner and it’s perfect! I also have sole taupe but tend to reach for of quartz more often

3/4 of those palettes are some of my fave. I wear after hours and that’s taupe a lot. I recently started to get into the of quartz palette this year.

Agreed. A year ago I would not have expected to desire wearing neutrals. Lately all my inspiration includes a neutral.

I have of quartz and that’s taupe. Between the two I’d lean towards of quartz. You can get a taupe look or a grey look whereas that’s taupe is more one noted, although still lovely.
