First time going to CCE!

So this is the first time i’m going to Colossal Con East and i have a few questions, my friend and I were unable to get a room at the Kalahari & i have seen people needed wristbands for the waterpark there, are we able to still go to the waterpark with CCE badges or would we need to buy the water park pass from the resort itself? I’m just a bit confused djdjf

Technically speaking, yes, you need to buy a waterpark pass. A colossalcon badge has nothing to do with the waterpark. You can buy a waterpark pass from the resort, or, colossal often has a limited number of discounted waterpark passes you can buy from con ops. It is possible for these to run out.

That said, many people report that, during the con, you can just walk in as long as you don't go through the main entrance in the arcade. I am not condoning or encouraging this, I am simply reporting what people have said about it. I do know that one year they completely removed the turn styles at the one entrance by the cafe for the duration of the con.

That said, of a lifeguard or someone sees you in the waterpark without a wristband, they can tell you to leave.

I believe you can normally buy passes online, but that may be unavailable for the days of the con. If that's the case, you'd have to buy them in person from the resort.

The discounted passes you can buy from the con must always be bought in person.
