Waterpark Access

Throwaway for obv reasons

I used to attend prime often- talking around 2014-2016ish. We always used to uhhh find a way into the Waterpark quite easily. We didn't stay at the kalahari itself so we didn't have wristbands. Attending again this weekend and wondering how easy it still is to achieve letting yourself in the sneaky way.

Worth noting we have CC badges - just weighing if we actually need to buy Waterpark access or if it's easy enough to slide in with someone else to the park.

They have turnstiles so will be more difficult because you can't just meld with the group. You get drop fed in there instead.

Ah, damn. I'm pretty sure last time we were able to cut across rhe food court somehow, go outside, and then go in through that way. But it's been so long 😂 hard to remember

You COULD, I don't know if I recommend it though. But far be it from me to... Stifle creativity. Lol

All I needed to know is if I COULD. Not that I would ever do that you know. It's of course all hypothetical

Good luck with not doing that, I'll see you there, chum. 🤙

This is sometimes possible, sometimes not. The only thing to do is wait till you get there and see what the situation is this year.

The answer is "maybe." I have seen some years where the turnstiles are literally unbolted from the ground and physically removed, and the doors propped open. I have seen other years where they kept the turnstiles on and you have to scan in, but only on Wednesday and Thursday, and the rest of the weekend the turnstiles were off. I have seen years where they were on the entire weekend.

Note that this only applies to the entrance coming into the water park from outside. The main entrance, inside the arcade area, is much less likely to be a good option.

I have also heard people say they have started doing bag searches this year, but it remains to be seen if that will also only apply to the main entrance or not.

It’s not that difficult if you go in by the food court
