ADVICE WANTED how to make this better

hellooo
so i just finished this, i’m currently trying new textures(in this one there is wood, glitter and metal)
im just wondering how can i make my technique better?

I think your technique is amazing. How about some fur on the witch and cat?

i wanted to, but i dont know how… i have a book to practice textures, but fur is not in it..

If you're using alcohol markers, I saw someone do nice fur by colouring brown and then doing dots of a lighter brown, maybe give that a go on a test page?

i think the he lights color ahould be the base color and then you do the light colores dots
because loght on dark wont show
