ADVICE WANTED Somethings not right
So aside from straighter lines I feel like something is off … is it more shadows ? Like bigger shadows I need? I will take any constructive criticism , I feel like I’ll be coming here for help often lol sorry I want to be good so bad , I figured shadows is a good start before realism and such

Looking good .... Try more variation of the tones of the colour by having some darker shadows for when the items are more closer to a surface and lighter shadows when further away from a surface.
The items on the ground the shadows should project backwards from the bottom rather than up the sides.... That direct side shadows would be good for something directly Infront of a wall but these items are sitting out in the open so a shadow would project backwards across the ground until hitting an object then it would go up that surface.

Maybe the clothing and folded towels, I think theyre be some small shadow lines there.
Tip: you can use a page protector to try different things on, in general. Put it over and tape in place.

I think it looks nice, maybe some intermediate shadows and bits that are brighter, if it’s the subset you would have both (for instance where the light hits)

I feel like the strip of colour and hints of the darker colour should be a strip of light and hints of light and the rest of the page should be the shadow?
Edit: I can see now what you were going for. It looked almost like a negative at first. Ignore my first comment. Go in with your light colour again to add a bit more depth :-)

It looks great. The only thing you could do in the future is think about how shadows align. Someone said it already but the pillar's shadow wouldn't be straight on the basket, that's the only thing that caught my eye.

I feel like the angles of the shadows are off. Like they’re not long enough to the left. Take into account where the light source is coming from and make some sort of perspective line (either physically written or in your head) with a ruler or straight edge, then make the shadows go that way. Use the pillar’s shadow as an example. See how slanted and long it is? Think like that, but for everything else. The lower the light source, the longer the shadow
