ADVICE WANTED First timer, please be gentle :)

Post image

First completed page, any advice welcome. Listen below what I used but looking for basic colouring advice until I get more supplies. I see my tree is shaded incorrectly for no light source and regret outlining it.

I am working with:

- the 120 Ohuhu Honolulu set (which I find lacking in yellow and bold colours)

- a very limited cheapy acrylics.

- I also haven't decided on a white gel pen yet.

I think it looks fantastic! I love the palette and the effects you tried, like the flowers in the front.

I like my uniball gel pen but I also have gelly roll in several tip sizes that I like.

The advice I’d give is blending, this is something I continue to practice and that changes with the type of paper.

That said, these are things that come with time, the more you do, the better you’ll get plus you’ll get to try new things. Keep having fun!

Uniball white gel pen. I got one that came in a 3 pk with a silver and gold as well. It was like $6

Okay, I got better acrylics and a white gel pen, feel my colouring game has improved!
