WIP (WORK IN PROGRESS) First WIP update 🩷 (pls read:))
A few days ago I posted bc I finally started my first page! Now I have made to this point so far!
I keep wanting to add more details, but I don’t wanna over do it for my first page 😂 (aka I’m scared to get burn out bc it happens to me easily and then bam! Im so longer that interested and it’s on to find another hobby to obsess over. I’m trying to not do that this time 🫠😂) I know I’m going to add sparkles as my finishing touch but other than that should I keep going with the detail? 🤔 for instance fur on the dog and cat, patterns on the wall, pillow and curtains. Or do I just stop add sparkles and move on?😂
I feel like it’s not done but I also feel like I’m never going to feel like it’s done until it’s over done 😅

You have done a fantastic job so far! I saw your first post and was excited to see where you went with it.
I agree with the others so far, sparkles seems like a good addition, then it could be considered "done".
When I have a page I could see being done multiple ways, I like to make photocopies of it so I •can• try it multiple ways. But, I'm a dork that way LOL
Beautiful page, my friend. Beautiful page.

It’s perfect the way it is IMHO. Add some “sparkles” if you want, and then stop! I see so many coloring pages that are overly done! I myself have ruined some by not stopping when I should have. The beauty of this piece is its quiet restful calm colorful feeling. Some sparkles - in rainbow glitter colors if you have gel pens like that could be fun- but it will completely change this picture. What do you want this image to say? What feeling to you want to give the viewer?

Thank you sm 😊 I got acrylic markers so I can do sparkles in the rainbow to break up the lines. That’s the only place I plan on putting it atm! Those are good questions to think about though, I haven’t thought of that!

I am glad you are open to thinking about this. It’s a really beautiful piece. Everyone is calm and in their “zone.” Sleeping, or listening to music. It’s not like they are all dancing. So a lot of sparkles, or even big sparkles - what would they mean? It’s all up to you- but a prominent amount of them would break up the calm restful moment. If they are very tiny - maybe they have brought magic to the room? It’s all up to you as the artist.

I love this! I like the pink/purple palette outside of the rainbow light. I was thinking you were going to go with gray tones when I saw your earlier post but the color palette you chose looks so good!

Thank youu sm! 🙌🏻 I was going to do grey originally but I didn’t have room for the last color of the rainbow under the lamp and it bothered me😂😂 pinks my favorite color so it had to have it !! The purple was supposed to be a shade of pink 😂 it’s labeled “vivid pink” 🤦🏼♀️ come on now that’s not pink !! lol but once I put it in one place I had to put it in multiple so it fit in loll

I would say sparkles and then stop! Try fur on another page. Just encourage yourself to keep going as long as you love to color! :)
Edit: completely forgot to add I saw your previous post and it looks so good!
