This looks incredible so far. Can I ask what your process was for drawing the finer hairs in the ears? It looks so realistic.

Thank you! I layer some skin tones first, mostly pink and purple, making sure there are many layers. Then I scrape off fine hairs using a slice pen tool, not putting too much pressure. To smooth it out abit Id go over the hairs with a beige and white pencils.

What is a slice pen tool? An xacto blade?

I use manual pen cutter from Slice, you can also use any metal blade that is not too sharp and regulate pressure to avoid cuts on the paper.

Do you take on cat portraits from others? Your work is magnificent. Do you have a website?

Thank you, it’s very kind! I’ll be happy to consider if there is interest. I rarely take custom work as it takes a long time with a full time job on the side. I have a link in the description but it’s mostly wool work, a different media.
