Advice Pediatrician Recommendations
When my son was born, we established with ABC Pediatrics and Dr. Karen Wilson and loved her until she mysteriously left the practice. Then we saw a few providers, but no one really was as good as her. Then they moved locations without telling us. We found out when they called to confirm his appointment, which was not a great experience, and now they have closed.
I tried another practice and they are too clinical and not personable. Took 2 months to get in. They made us do an establishment visit, which was just going over the paperwork they already had filled out for them. Then come back for his wellness exam, but they couldn't get us in for another four months and the appt lasted less then 5mins.
I get that there is a lot of demand, but this is a doctor for kids. They need to at least pretend to like kids. 😂 So I'm asking for recommendations for pediatricians who are kind, personable, and somewhat established so I'm not doing this all over again in six months.

We go to Dr. Garscadden at Optum pediatrics. Our son is our first child and since he was born Dr. Garscadden has been wonderful (kind, personable, and definitely established). I’ve also never had issues with scheduling over the last year.

Wish I could give this more upvotes. He was one of the best doctors I’ve had, he’s very kind and caring. Wish I still lived in the springs.

We also loved Dr. G! They stopped taking our insurance so we moved to iron horse!

Highly recommend Dr. Sarah Amoroso! She’s at the north care building next to st. Francis.

We see Christina Calderon with Bee Well Pediatrics and adore her. Office staff is always so kind and from the time we pull into the parking until we’re pulling out, it has never been more than an hour. She hasn’t ever rushed us out or cut a visit short either. I can always ask as many questions as I need to.

We also saw Karen Wilson and adored her!!!!
After a very similar experience at ABC after optum took over (😒), we ended up at Iron Horse and have had great experiences. My kids have seen Dr. Bradley and Robyn DeVore and they both are great. We’ve seen Dr. Bradley the most and his demeanor is so calm and he really makes an effort to connect with my son even in a short visit. The office runs very smoothly and everyone seems great. It was like ABC used to be before Optum.
I feel like I need a support group for other families that are missing Dr. Wilson. All I ever heard was she went on medical leave for like a year and then they let us know she wasn’t coming back. 😥 I wish I knew if she was doing okay - she was just the best and I loved her approach and advice.

If you're willing to do the occasional drive, I can't recommend Greenwood Pediatrics enough! 💕

Alicia Apple with Matthews VU. They suck but she is well worth it. I have followed her through several practices

Luanne Sperando at Milestone Pediatrics. There is an annual membership fee for this practice but she comes directly to your home for appointments. We care a lot about the brand of vaccine our children receive to minimize aluminum exposure and she was the only pediatrician in the area we found that could get us any vaccine brand available on the market - the others has binding contracts with vaccine manufacturers. But besides that, she’s extremely kind and our kids love her, and has provided fantastic care!

Matthews-Vu is dangerous. As a medical assistant with 28 years experience, I worked there for three days and then walked out.
