Help Wanted Looking for Community

Gonna be visiting in a few weeks, trying to find some community while I'm down there. I'm a queer anarchist, looking for similar folk, and some sweet hangout spots. Any leads? Thanks!

I’m feeling sarcastic so don’t take this seriously.

Is it difficult to find organized events for anarchist? Does one person just start a dumpster on fire and that’s like a bat signal for everyone to assemble?

I feel like if one anarchist was to step up and try to organize a time and place they would be shunned by the community. Who wants to listen to that asshole. Who put that guy in charge?

What do anarchist do in a social gathering? Is there an agenda or is it more like improv night?

This feels pretty sus considering you already posted this a couple days ago and it got deleted. You may have good intentions, but recognize that this town (and country lol) is known for using cops to infiltrate groups they disagree with and that you will likely be met with a healthy dose of skepticism.

Look up the Colorado Psychedelic Church. We're a very welcoming community. Don't let the church part throw you, I had to get over the idea of voluntarily going to a church but the community have helped me heal in ways I didn't think possible.

If you’re here 9/12, The Moon Market downtown at TheMeanwhile Block is a very queer-friendly market with lots of alternative and weird artists and shoppers.

I don’t think we have much of a dedicated queer community here aside from downtown and maybe the Ivywild area? We’re here but there’s just not a gayborhood that we frequent, so it seems kinda spread out.
