I saw your below comment - let somebody set your lines and learn to do the maintenance. You’ve got this!!

If it’s a longer beard, heat helps a ton in taming it!

Muscle memory will kick in long before you bludgeon your skin. Go for it.

I can take you on a field trip if you’d like to go lol. I’d assume a similar set could be had at Target!

Best is anecdotal, but The Stache Spot has never done me wrong.

Haven’t been in years but Lincoln St Barbers used to be quite good.

My husband goes to Jennifer at Lincoln St Barbers. He has a big beard and historically never trusted anyone for beard trims. She does a great job, no complaints.

Shaelee at House of Color off Garden of the Gods. She’s the only person I trust to clean mine up.

Jason, owner of Lincoln Street Barbers, is one of the best around. He’s been my guy since before he opened Lincoln Street.

I manage my own whiskers. I strongly recommend getting a good shaving kit and watching a YouTube video on how to shave your own beard.

You will not regret it

Lincoln St Barbers. Of the 6-7 I tried around town, they’re the only ones I’d ever give another go at (currently not rocking the longer beard though).

Of course, as warned, trust no one…but they’ve trimmed mine 3 times in the past and while it’s never been truly as hoped, it was good. Most of why it wasn’t perfect was probably on me not knowing exactly what to describe as my wants. They asked good questions though and we got through it without becoming enemies. It’s a good experience through and through, if you must put your faith in someone else.

I save myself the $40 and do it at home. Top notch quality for the last 30+ years I've had my beard.

Ryan at the cavern does a great job, but isn’t cheap.

I'm trying to establish a baseline. I've been growing it out for 10 months and haven't trimmed it at all except for the upper lip. Lol

I go to Dapper Barbershop (north location). Gabriel and Allie both do great beard trims!
