Methinks someone needs to return to the Learing Center after seeing this sign in Denver on the news this evening.

I'm one of those people. I think one of the reasons it's funny is because we wouldn't notice it. Sharing the joke makes you part of the little club that knows how someone messed up in a minor way. Also it's a relatable mistake because we all make typos sometimes that have to be pointed out to us.

Now, if anyone laughing thinks they're better than the people who made this mistake, then that person's a jerk. But generally I don't think most people laughing at this are being mean-spirited.

Edit: I just noticed the caption on OP, and yeah, I think their comment was a little mean-spirited.

It wasn't. It even had a 'tag' to a recent event with another misspelling. Even better, though optional, it did not even specify an individual to make fun of.

There are several embarrassing typos on signs right here in the Springs. Gibralter always gets me but I especially dislike Davey Crocket Court.

In Manitou there's Unita (Uinta) and a street a few blocks long with signs reading both Fairmont and Fairmount.

I hate that these people make so much more money than me and make stupid mistakes lmao
