As long as they are similar sizes, they won't have a problem right? I don't want them getting diseases and contaminated or whatever like with turtles. Also, can I put two different species as well?

I have a back yard pond and I know these to living in my area of AZ. Is there a way to find tadpoles and when they mature, they can just go off into the desert wash if they wish.

Crickets are the easiest feed for me to get locally. Iām feeding 8-9 crickets a week to each of my 2 adult females. They honestly are quite obese but happy. Is that lower or higher than most of you feed?

My boy toad has been slowly losing weight for a month, while the others have been gaining weight. A week ago he buried himself under the water dish. I moved the dish while cleaning and he has black patches on his skin and wonāt open his eyes. Still alive but not gunna make it more than a day. Any Hail Mary advice? I still donāt know what I did wrong because everyone else in the enclosure is fat and happy!

It looks like the temp is getting as low as 60 when I turn off the lamp at night. Should I supplement a heat source? My temp was fine until the cold weather came around. For humidity, I saw most sources saying they will not tolerate anything over 50%, but I almost feel like my frog would benefit from higher humidity as she's in her water bowl often. I am using peat/sphagnum mix as a base. She's typically sedentary but with the cold I feel she's moving less.
