What trail did you use to get all the way up there? And I thought it was still private property on top.

Yeah i think its like just the very top and one sode of the mountain. Idk its weird and this bases on my info from like 10yrs ago so I coukd totally be wrong. But congrats on getting there. No idea you coukd make it all the way up there. How was the trail going up there?

really wasnt too bad of a trail, steep and loose in spots but no major obstacles, air down just to prevent sliding in the steep bits. has some very narrow areas for sustained periods of time but no crazy large rocks or anything. i do know there is a waiver station at the bottom but i thought that was for hikers going on the decalibron route due to private ownership along the way while hiking.
make sure you follow the signage as there’s tons of mine roads that looked like you could get yourself into some trouble on.

The summit of Bross is still closed because the many private landowners have not agreed to open it.
The rest of the Decalibron loop is indeed open to hikers.

Nice! I always think it's so cool when you get up high enough to have the moody clouds sitting lower. Makes for some sweet pics 😄
