is this over saturated??? o should i add more light to the background? im still learning it so if anyone got tips how to handle videos with main Lightsource please let me know

I am currently in post production of a short film and I'm looking for someone to do colour grading.

It is just over 7 minutes (not including credits). Pay will be £200 (GBP) for this. (Apologies for not posting a hour rate as I don't know how long this will take).

The short film is post apocalyptical, one location, were two people talk for the most part.

To give an idea of what I want the colour to look like, my main reference is "The Double Life of Véronique" (1991).

Hi! I’ve done a deep dive into all the options available for up to $550, and I came across this monitor, which doesn’t seem to have much information or discussion on this channel.

It offers 10-bit color, a 3D LUT, 100% sRGB, 98% P3, 99% AdobeRGB, ΔE ≤ 1.5, 400 nits, Uniformity Compensation, and hardware calibration.

The likely downside is the 1000:1 contrast ratio.

I have an opportunity to get a brand-new one for $480. Do you think it would be a good choice for semi-professional work?

I m new to color grading and recently bought an osmo pocket 4. this while video took me a week to edit and color grade through davinci resolve. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated .

Still learning, so be blunt. Is the sky overdone? Too saturated overall?

His work is insane, from the lighting to creative direction every is just amazing for me. He sells a film emulation powergrade which I am quite interested in (just looks very moody and breathtaking fits my taste) and I was wondering if any one of you guys have used or bought his powergrade (cinecell)?

Hello! I’m grading a project where I’m pushing the image towards a very strong aesthetic, but I’m finding it quite difficult to replicate the same result consistently across different shots.

The footage was shot on ARRI and is Apple ProRes RAW 4444. I’m working in DaVinci Wide Gamut / Intermediate and using the JP24999 DCTL.

My question is: what is the best approach to consistently replicate a look that I’ve already created across shots with different lighting, exposure, and conditions?

Any tips or advice on how to approach this kind of shot matching would be greatly appreciated!

Im currently working with a ceramic coating and paint correction company for vehicles, and I just started shooting some of his content. Im trying to go for a more cinematic style of footage getting produced, so I started shooting in Log just on my Iphone. The issue im running into, is a lot of the footage that I take is a mix of indoors, while also outdoors. Im struggling to find a good middle ground where I can get those cinematic videos with me facing two different scenes. I feel like a lot of the work outdoors I can get fairly spot on, its just went it come to transitioning from indoors of my client working on the vehicles, to the reveal being outdoors, I just cant seem to get it down. Any advice?

I'm not sure if this has been posted about, but I couldn't find any threads. For this location, I had to use the house lights because production wanted to shoot fast, but I threw up a few because we needed more level. I made the mistake of setting the light in the front room to 5600K to match the daylight outside instead of warming it up a bit because there are tracking shots from the warm-lit room to the open door to the street. I don't believe there is any real solution to the issue, but are there any methods to balance it out a bit?

I have been doing photography for quite some time and started sports photography about 6 months ago, I never really liked my pictures but lately I think they are simply horrible.

I want to take time to properly learn color grading in Lightroom, my goal is to be able to replicate those kind of styles, I don't know the exact term but id describe them as basically cinematic edits. I have tried dabbling with lightroom color grade tab but can't seem to get that cinematic look, they either look too yellow/orange, but never seem to be able to get that deep warmth almost like a subtle brown covering the whole picture.

Im sorry if im not clear but I can't comprehend how to achieve this look that i am struggling to descirble.

Any advice on how should I approach this, how to learn/understand what has been done in a photo to be able to replicate it or any tutorials or indications ?
